Her POV

I sat down next to Jimin on the sofa, the cushions sinking under my weight as I scooted closer to him, his eyes glued to the screen, fingers reaching out towards the popcorn in my hands.

"I swear to god, Jimin. You were supposed to make the popcorn today-" I say as I pull the bowl away from him, earning a pout.

It was our weekly night in.

We'd put on movies or just chill around the house, talking about our days, our week.

Most of the time it'd end up in a debate of sorts which would lead to him walking up to me and tickling me while chanting, "This is supposed to be fun why are you so serious-"

"Well I guess it comes with being a lawyer," I say between breaths as we lay on the floor

He props himself on his elbow, "Do you know how sexy I find that?" He says with a smirk on his lips

"As if that's not the billionth time I've heard that-" I say as I roll my eyes.

He wiggled his fingers towards the popcorn, pulling a puppy face.

Man I always give in to that

I sighed as I moved the bowl closer to him.

Instead of grabbing the popcorn, he wrapped his arm around me instead, pulling me close, placing a peck on my nose that made me flush a bright shade of scarlet, before looking at the screen again.

That was what you got when you dated Park Jimin.

Random kisses before he acted like he didn't do anything, leaving  you to process what just happened.

I smiled before I turned to look at the screen too

...

His POV

The room was silent save for the dialogue from the film and the crunching of popcorn next to me. I stole a glance at her, her hand mechanically shoving popcorn in her mouth.

Nothing graceful

Just stuffing as much popcorn as she could in one mouthful

A soft chuckle left my lips, causing her to turn, her cheeks full

"You look like a chipmunk right now" I say laughing as I point at her face, her expression immediately changing to a mixture annoyance and amusement as she slowly chewed.

"The popcorn isn't going to run away!" I say with a grin as I pat her head

"It almost always does disappear before I eat my fill. I'm not taking any chances today. Especially since I made it today" she said, immediately grabbing another handful, turning back to the screen. I grab her hand before it reaches her mouth and she turns around, confusion in her eyes.

I lean and kiss her, the taste of butter lingering on my lips

"Is that really better than this?" I whisper, looking at the popcorn

She stares at me, before setting the bowl down on the table in front of us. She dusts her hands and throws them around my neck
"You wanted my attention, love?" She asks with a tilt of her head, a smile on her lips.

I reach out and brush my hand over her face, removing the stray strands of hair before proceeding to trace the curves and the edges.

The scar on her left eyebrow, the tip of her nose, all the while she stared at me, her eyes intense like she was burning my face in her memory.

We sat in silence the entire time, just staring at each other, her hands tracing my fingers wordlessly.

We didn't even notice the credits roll

And the popcorn had gone soggy ages ago.

We just sat, in the comfortable silence, the only noise being our soft breathing, and the air conditioning, arms wrapped around each other, eyes on each other.

Her POV

He broke the silence, whispering with eyes filled with something new

"Do you have any idea how much I love you?"

"I do... And sometimes I cannot wrap my head around that. Because the only question that looms in my mind is why?" I say looking away, having finally told it out loud.

He chuckled as he gently turned me to face him again, "Because you're you. I don't have a better answer than that... And I love everything about you. You may not be perfect in your eyes, but you're real and you're mine~" he said as he pulled me close

I felt myself tear up as I rested my head on his shoulder, "Park Jimin how many times do I have to tell you I'm not yours and that no one owns me-"

He laughs as he hugs me tighter, and pressed a kiss on my forehead "That's my girl."
