TW-MENTIONS OF ABUSE

After, leaving Allison's Scott gets a call and pulls over. I take off my helmet and Scott does the same. He puts it on speaker and I instantly hear Stiles voice talking about Danny's paper on Telluric Currents. A few more words are exchanged and we all decide to meet up at the Vet's Clinic with Cora and Lydia.

"Okay, so what does this kids homework have to do with finding Deaton?" Cora says as Stiles and Scott put all the maps and papers on the table.

"Because it's not just homework. It's a project on geo-magnetic fields. They flow through the earth and can even be affected by lunar phases. Look at this. It's a note from Harris on Danny's proposal." Stiles points to the top corner of the paper. Lydia leans over and reads.

"Danny, I strongly advise you to choose another subject. The ideas here, while innovative and thoughtful, border on pseudoscience. Not suitable for class." Utter shit it took so long for him to do this.

"Harris wasn't just a sacrifice. He knew something." Scott realizes looking up at everybody.

"Okay so check this out. Allison's dad isn't the only one with a map. Danny has one too and he marked all the telluric currents. And the weird thing about Beacon Hills is that it literally is a beacon. You wouldn't believe how much energy flowing through the earth is around this town." Its silent and I look up to find them all staring at me.

"What? Danny told me all about it. Let me tell you he was not happy to find out he had to choose a new topic." Scott looks at me and then looks back to the map and something clicks.

"Wait guys look. They match."

"There's three places, right? The place where they're first kidnapped." Scott marks the disappearance at the Animal Clinic. "The place where their bodies are found." He marks the appearance of the body in the woods near the school. Which I still have nightmares about.

"Look, it's right on the telluric current." Lydia points to where the two spots meet.

"So maybe the place where he was sacrificed is somewhere in between." Scott is holding the pen not sure where to move it.

"Let me see that." Stiles takes the marker from Scott.

"You said there's six more bodies to be found. Deaton's one of them." Stiles quickly marks them on the map. The last one falls on a telluric current that leads back to the Animal Clinic.

"He has to be somewhere in-between, right?" Stiles traces his finger across the map when-

"Stop." Stiles pauses. Cora spoke softly and gently puts her hand over his and guides it back to a landmark titled BEACON HILLS FIRST NATIONAL. Cora swallows before speaking.

"He's in the vault. He's in the same vault." With that everybody goes to leave when Lydia suddenly stops and is looking at Cora.

"Guys, hold on."

"Lydia, we don't have time-" Scott rushes out quickly but, he stops short when he sees Cora looking at her phone with a troubled expression.

"It's from Boyd. His plan didn't work. They cut the power." Scott lowers the helmet. Looks down and mumbles to himself "It's just like he said."

"Go. I can get Deaton myself." Scott says confidently.

"What about us?" Stiles looks at him in slight panic and fear.

"Cora won't get there fast enough without you. We can save them both. Go!" Before any of us can protest, Scott pushes through the door of the clinic, yanking his helmet on. The four of us are sitting in the jeep when Stiles looks back and pushes harder on the gas.
