Your POV:
—————
You quickly grab your cap and head downstairs. "Sweetie one quick photo!" You mom pleads. "Make it quick I'm gonna be late!" You say laughing. Today was your graduation. You were finally free from all the tests and homework of hell. Free from all the bullshit rumors and bullshit people who pretend to be there for you when in reality they just want any social power you may hold. Your mom snaps a photo while you put your cap on. You get in your old beat up 2010 Ford Fusion. You take a deep breath while turning your keys in the ignition. You let out your breath and put the car into drive and hit the gas.

You drive to the destination and park the car. You get out and walk up to the ceremony. You see all of your classmates in their graduation outfits and search the wave of people to find you friends. You spot a group of people with a bunch of boys and a girl. You quickly head over to them. "WASSUP BITCHES" you scream as you laugh over to them. They tackle you in laughter and a big group hug. "Hey bitch, you look great!" Beverly had said. "Not as good as you whore" you joke back. You guys laugh it off and prepare for the major events about to take place. A new step in the future. "Damn, it's already graduation. It feels like yesterday we were watching Richie try to beat his high score on Street Fighter" Stan said. We all laugh. "Hey at least I wasn't spending all my time watching birds, bird stalker" Richie retorts. Yep Richie is still the trash mouth we grew to love.

"Hey guys where's Bill?" You ask. "Huh I'm not sure" Ben said. You glance around trying to see if you could find him anywhere. As you are spinning in circles trying to look for him you feel a pair of hand on your shoulders and let out a shriek. You turn around to see Bill. "Holy shit Bill, I almost had a fucking heart attack" you laugh. He smiles at you and pulls you into a hug. "Sorry didn't mean to scare you that bad" he says.

Bill had grown out of his stutter a few years back. He will always be known as stuttering Bill though. He would stutter if he was nervous or scared but it was never bad. You walk back to the group. "Hey Bill" Stan greeted. "Hey guys" he smiles at the group of losers. There was a small but loud beep before a booming voice came over the speakers placed around the area. "Everyone the ceremony will begin in about twenty minutes so begin to head towards your seat." The voice said. You and the losers begin to walk to the seats.

You all sit in a row together taking the whole row up. The seating went Ben, Beverly, you, Bill, Stan, Richie, and lastly Eddie. Your friend Mike had moved a few years back. He had promised that he would come back for your graduation. So you were excited to finally see him after all these years without him. "I'm so nervous" Bill says turning towards you. You smile at him and say "Me too. I can't believe we are actually here". You guys make eye contact and stay there for a minute. You stare into his eyes. You see an ocean. An ocean of blue and green splashing onto the shore of black. You could lost in his eyes like you can get lost at sea. You send him a warm smile before breaking the contact. Parents and families of the many students start to come into the area and take their seat. The ceremony was outside in the soccer field. Beside the soccer field was a meadow that added lively ness to the area. It seemed to brighten the whole day.

-Twenty Minutes Later-

"Ladies and Gentlemen! I'm so happy to welcome you the graduation of class {whatever year you are graduate in}. Before we start here we have a very special young lady, a fellow student of Derry High, that will be giving a few words" your principle declares with enthusiasm. "Please welcome up Y/N up to the stage" he steps back and claps along with everyone else. You look towards your right and smile at Bill who is also clapping. You stand up and walk to the stage. You are now in front of a podium and are about to say your speech.

"Four years ago I was a lonely freshman who had no idea what to expect walking into my first day of high school. I had no idea that the next four years of my life would be the best four years I've ever had." You smile and continue " But I also didn't know it would be four of the worst years either. High school is a place to learn and make memories. Wether the memories are good or bad they stick with you as you look back to your teen years. You remember your best friends and occasional say hi and leave friends. When you look back at your years as a teen you realize who your true friends are. You realize who used you for popularity and who actually cared. I know who my real friends are and I couldn't be more grateful. But sadly not everyone was so fortunate. Not everyone knows who they can trust. I mean how could they when rumors spread like a wildfire through the crowed high school hallways. Whispers about who's dating who. Who hates who. You can never really trust anyone. And that's the sad part of high school. But then there's things like school dances, football games, pep rally's, and many other activities to bring us together. School it self isn't bad, it's the people in it. So I hope that you look past all the fake people and look at the memories you created with the real ones. They aren't going to be there forever so cherish who you have now and never let them go. High school is the worst but best thing that has happened to me. And I'm grateful for every moment I had in its presence." You smile and see everyone is standing up clapping. You walk back to your seat and your friends pull you into a big group hug. They all had tear in their eyes due to your moving speech.

-The after party-
You and your losers walk up to the after party and throw you caps into the air along with everyone else. You are all a crying mess. You walk towards you mom when you see Mike. You laugh and rub up to him and wrap your arms around him. "I'm so proud of you Y/N" he smiles. You walk up to your mom who is crying and hug her. "My little girl is all grown up" you both laugh. You pull apart and decide to head to your friends. You seen Mike had already made his way to the other losers. You guys all talk and eat the food that was provided.

After about 2 hours you all have to split ways. You were all going to different colleges. You are all crying and hugging one last time. You walk up to Richie first and hug him. "Thank you for always being there for me whenever. I love you and I'm so happy I new you when I did" you say through tears. "I love you too hot stuff" you both laugh. Next you go to Eddie. "Thank you for always fixing me up whenever my dumbass would fall because apparently I don't know what balance is" you laugh and he smiles while laughing. You hug and he goes and gives Richie a kiss to try and calm him down. (Yes haha REDDIE IS REAL).

You go around and give everyone a hug. You finally walk to to Bill the last person you have to say goodbye too and honestly the hardest. He's been your best friend since you ran into him freshman year. He's always been there for you and always stuck up for you whether you were there or not. You both slowly walk up to each other with tears in your eyes. You finally tightly wrap your arms around him while you cry onto his shoulder. You stay like this for what seems like forever in reality it was only a minute. You finally pull away. "I just wanted to say that I appreciate you so much. You were the best thing that ever happened to me. Thank you for all the times you stuck up for me. Thank you for all of the memories. And thank you for being my best friend for four whole years. To be honest I don't even know who you dealt with me and my crackhead energy for four years." He laughs and looks into your eyes and says "because that's what I love most about you. I love how you don't care about what people say. You don't care if you embarrass yourself all you care about is making people laugh while doing it." He smiles at you and you enter his embrace one more time not knowing the next time you would see each other. You pull away and give one last group hug and you all wave and walk your other ways.

You see Richie jog up next to Bill and start talking to him. You shrug your shoulders and walk away. What you never knew that they were talking about you until it was too late.

Bills POV
————-

You walk away from all the memories you had until you hear heavy breathing next to you and see Richie had run up to you. "Hey Rich" "what the hell dude" Richie said. "What?" You question. "Who knows when you are going to see her next and you didn't even tell her" he exclaimed as he threw his arms up and let's them slap his sides when they fell back down. Richie was the only person besides Stan who knew of your crush on your best friend. "Richie you need to understand I don't have your confidence I can't just walk up to my crush of four years and be like hey I like you but you know I'm never gonna see you again" you explain. Richie sighs. "Well maybe when grow a pair of balls you will see what a mistake it was to never have told her" he shrugs his shoulders while walking backwards in front of you.

You were now at his car. Before he got in he hugged you and says goodbye for the last time. You walk towards your car and think to yourself. Was it a mistake not telling her? And with that you start your car and drive away from your high school without turning back.
