Past: Whenever Leon was eighteen he was forced into a marriage with a man he had never once had the chance of knowing, and if he were to tell the truth, he partly wished that he would have never met him. Right away after the marriage things were horrible. Leon was either beaten or degraded in some horrible way from the very beginning, but when he tried telling someone he was either told to suck it up or that he was just over exaggerating the situation. This continued and soon he was raped by Felix at the age of twenty, but the abuse still happened, that was until Felix was completely bored of him and left Leon when Max was to be born. No one showed up at the hospital, no one was there to help him with the baby or to tell him everything would be alright. The only thing he heard from anyone was that he was the evil one, he broke the marriage by sleeping around with other men. From then on he was a single father, doing everything he could to protect Max from this hateful world and others.

You thought he was a bit weird at first by how he just stayed inside most of the time and didn't really want to talk to anyone, but when you saw him walking with his little boy and smiling with him, all of your judgment or doubt soon faded away. This was now certain, you were going to help out your new neighbor any way possible and bake him a pie to welcome him.
