Baby Tali

Tony and ziva have 2 weeks of because 4 days ago ziva gave birth to a tiny baby girl weighing 5lb 4oz. Ziva had been released the day before. "Tony, can you turn on the bath and fill the baby bath with warmish water please, tali needs a bath" ziva said from the bedroom as she lay on the bed feeding tali. Tony was in the room next door on the computer sorting something out. Tony walked into the bedroom where ziva was feeding tali. "Sorry ziva parden?" Tony said "can you start the bath for tali please" ziva said lovingly "oh yer sure" tony replied. Tony went into the back room full of baby stuff and got the pink baby bath then went to the bathroom and put the baby bath inside the normal bath and turned the water on. Tony sat beside the bath until it filled checking it was the right temperature. "Ziva honey wheres the bath thermometer with the panda on it?" Tony asked "its in the bag where her extra nappies are" ziva replied as she layed tali on the bed and put herself away then picked tali up and walked in the bathroom where tony was.
Tony and ziva undressed tali carefully and ziva slowly lowered tali into the warm bath. While ziva held tali tony carefully rubbed the water over tali's tiny body. After a refreshing bath tony and ziva took her out and put her into a baby grow. Tali started crying as the ice cold air hit her warm, silky skin. "Sssshhhh tali, its ok" ziva said as she carefully put tali's arms through the arm holes. Ziva wrapped tali up in a blanket and started rocking her to sleep. Tony stood by the door watching as ziva softly sang to their first daughter. "Ziva your such a good mum" tony said. Tony walked over to ziva and wrapped his arms around the back of her waist. "Mmm. Do you want to hold her?" Ziva asked "yes please, i've only held her twice" tony said as he let ziva go. "Aww you should have said" ziva replied as she handed tali over. "I was enjoying watch you hold her" tony said. "Shall we go see abby and the team tomorrow to show them her?" ZivA suggested as she settled down on her side of the bed. "Yer thats sounds like a good idea, we'll have to put ear plugs in her ears from abby's screams" tony joked.
That night wasn't bad for them but tali did wake up 3 times wanting to be fed. But it was easy for ziva because she has the co-crib attatched to herside of the bed so she didn't have to get up she just had to lift tali out feed her then put tali back in. Tony woke up at 6:00 am and saw ziva and tali still asleep. Tony got his dressing gown out of the wardrobe but hit his arm on the door and made a noise. Tony turned around and saw ziva roll over and tali started wriggling. He knew if tali woke up she would start screaming and woke ziva up. But luckily he didn't wake tali or ziva up. Tony went down stairs and made himself and ziva some breakfast, pancakes. Ziva woke up and felt to her right and no one was there, she opened her eyes and tony wasn't there but she could smell something good from the kitchen. Ziva looked to her left and talis big brown eyes were looking around the room scanning for either her mum or dad. Ziva sat up and reached into the co-crib. Ziva pulled tali out onto her lap. Ziva un-done her top and started to feed tali. After 10 minutes tali finished feeding and ziva went down stairs with tali lying on her shoulder with zivas hands holding her there. Ziva stood at the kitchen door and watched tony flip the pancakes and quietly hum to himself. "Hey honey" ziva said walking over to tony. "Hey sweetcheeks" tony quickly kissed ziva before returning to flipping the pancakes. "Smells good honey" ziva commented.
Ziva walked over to the baby swing and placed tali in it. Not surprisingly tali was asleep again. Ziva looked at the clock and it red 7:30. "Shall we try and be at NCIS by 9?" Ziva asked "ok, we have and hour and a half" tony said. Tony and ziva sat down and ate breakfast ten started to get ready. Once tony and ziva were dressed ziva picked up tali and looked over at tony who seemed to have nothing to do. "Hey tony, do you want to change your daughter for the first time?" Ziva asked "are you sure?" Tony asked "yer i'm sure, she's your own daughter and i've been hogging her to much that she's 4 days old and you haven't even change her yet, i'm sorry" ziva apologised. "Ok, what is she going to wear?" Tony asked "you choose" ziva replied as she handed tali over. Tony put her on the changing table then romaged through the drawers with talis clothes in. Tony picked out a 'Daddies little angel' top with pink leggings. Tony rubbed his hands on his trousers and ziva sat on the couch watching him. "Tony, calm down, she can sense your fear" ziva said "i'm not scared!" Tony lied. Ziva raised her eyebrows to him. "Ok, i'm scared i'll hurt her or do it wrong" tony said "don't worry tony, i'm here watching and i always get scared when changing her" ziva confessed "really?" Tony asked "i might be trained for taking down terrorists but i'm not trained to change a baby" ziva said
Once tony had successfully changed his daughter for the first time they packed talis changing bag then made their way to NCIS. Ding. Tony and ziva walked out the elevator, tali in her car seat being carried by ziva and tony carrying a folded down stroller. "Tony! Ziva!" Mcgee and gibbs said as tony and ziva walked into the bullpen. Tony and ziva hadn't told them the name of their baby girl, all they knew was it was a girl. Gibbs and mcgee got up and walked over to them. Ziva pulled the seat around infront of her and placed it on the floor so gibbs and mcgee could look at her. Tali turned her head the other way, moved her hands and open and shut her mouth a few times. "She is the spitting image oh her mother" gibbs said as he knelt down infront of his grandaughter. Tony and ziva smiled. "Tony can you put the stroller up please, its hard to carry her all day" ziva said. Tony put up the stroller and ziva secured talis car seat onto the stroller. "Whats her name?" gibbs asked "tali, after my sister" ziva replied. They said to gibbs and mcgee that they'll be back in awhile. Ziva pushed talis stroller to the elevator down to abbys lab. When the elevator stopped at abbys lab they got out and no one was in her lab so they went down to the evidence garage. Once the doors opened tony walked out first then ziva pulled the stroller out backwards.
"Oh my god tony! Ziva!" Abby screamed "oh my, you brought the baby" abby said again. Ziva pulled the stroller around to show abby. Abby leaned forward to see the tiny baby. "Oh my god, she's so cute, whats her name ?" Abby asked as she held talis hand. "Her names tali, after my sister" ziva said as she looked at talis tiny face. "Can i hold her? I'm clean i swear!" Abby said with her hands beside her head. "Yer sure, i'll get her out, actually tony do you want to get her out?" Ziva asked tony "ok" tony replied. He leaned in the stroller and picked tali up then handed tali over to abby. Abby looked down to tali. "She's really light, how much did she weigh at birth?" Abby asked "5lb 4oz, she was a small baby" tony answered "yer, she is, she barely fits in my arms" abby said. After a couple of minutes the elevator dinged again. The three of them turned around and saw ducky and palmer walk out. "Tony, ziva. You brought the baby" ducky said happily and they both walked over. Abby passed tali over to ducky. "Tali, meet grandpa ducky" ziva said "aww hello there tali" palmer and ducky said. After everyone held tali they all went up to the bullpen and stayed there talking until vance came down. "Hello director" ziva said "so this is the new NCIS baby" vance said as he looked in the stroller at the sleeping tali. "Yep, meet tali" tony replied "she's tiny, how much did she weigh?" Vance asked "5lb 4oz" tony replied. Vance put his hand in the stroller and stroked talis tiny hand. "Can i see her?" Vance asked "yer sure, do you want me to get her out?" Ziva answered "no i can get her out" vance replied as he got tali out. Tali opened her eyes and starred up at vance. "Please don't cry tali" ziva prayed "she might, its getting close to feeding time" tony replied.
After vance had held tali for 10 minutes he handed her back to ziva. As soon as she was in zivas arms she started to scream and cry. "Feeding time" ziva said "do you want us to go?" Abby asked "no don't worry i have a special blanket, you can stay, you won't see anything" ziva replied as she took a seat in her chair. Tony handed her the blanket and cover ziva. Ziva started to feed tali whilst talking to everyone. After a long day at NCIS tony, ziva and tali had to go home. Not surprisingly tali fell asleep for hours a soon as they got home.
