When Lynn had gone to the beach, she never expected to find herself a new boyfriend. Of course, she still felt the pain of her first heartbreak but Kera assured her there was no better way to get over it then finding a new boyfriend.
At around 1 pm, the boys had to go off to work their shift, so Lynn and Kera went to play some beach volleyball with another group of girls. They started chatting about Tobias and Max and how they wished they were their girlfriends. When Lynn and Kera didn't join in with the talk, the other girls were very confused. However, when Tobias and Max came up to Lynn and Kera and put their arms around their waists, their expressions turned to ugly jealousy.

They hung out and went on casual dates over the next few months, but nothing long or fancy as Lynn and Kera were trying to track down the recent murderer of one of their good friends, Delanie Hughes. The boys seemed disappointed but cheered up when Lynn and Kera promised to take them to the new movie on their next date.
