Rex: How is she, Boss?

Finn: Still out cold. Sadie and I are gonna stay with her until she wakes up.

Rex: Oh, well keep us updated. Try not to fall in love with her.

Finn: Don't even try it, Rex.

Rex: Yes, Boss.

*8 hours later*

I wake up in a room I've never seen before. My head is killing me and I'm aching all over. I look over to see Sadie asleep in a chair, still, in the clothes she wore to the club. I also see Finn pacing the room.

Lakin: F-Finn?

Finn: Lakin?! How are you feeling?

Lakin: My head is killing me and my body aches.

*Tries to get up*

Finn: Woah, slow your roll, Stallion. You took a pretty good beating last night.

Lakin: What?

Finn: Do you remember the shooting at the club last night?

Lakin: Yes, yes I do.

Finn: Well, in the confusion, those guys grabbed you. They beat you until you passed out. No worries, we already took care of it.

Sadie wakes up and rushes to my side

Sadie: *hugs Lakin* LAKIN! How are you feeling?

Lakin: *hisses in pain*

Sadie: Sorry.

Lakin: I feel alright, other than a killer migraine and some body aches.

Finn: Sadie, we should let Lakin shower and get some rest. She needs to rest.

Sadie: Okay, love you, sis. If you need anything, call me.

Finn: Or me.

Lakin: I will, thanks guys, for everything.

Finn & Sadie: You're welcome.

I slept for a few more hours and then Sadie and I went home. I took a hot bath and Sadie would check on me every now and again. I got out and I went straight to bed. Finn told me to stay home that I was excused from work so I could rest for a few days.

*3 days later; Lakin and Sadie go to Finn's house*

Lakin: Hi, guys!

Everyone: Hi!

Finn: How are you feeling?

Lakin: I feel a lot better. *Raises shirt to show ribs* These bruises are still gonna need time to heal.

I look at Finn and he looks pissed. He has an evil look in his eye, one that kind of scares me. I walk over and hug him. It takes him by surprise but he hugs me back, gently, careful not to hurt me. The strong, masculine scent of his expensive cologne flooded my nose and I instantly felt... better?

Cyborg: Uh, Boss. When will the food arrive?

Finn: Soon.

I let go and went to the bathroom and the food arrived while I was gone. We all sat in the living room and watched a movie, me closer to Finn. All of a sudden the door bursts open and an average-sized female figure appeared in front of us.

???: Been a long time, hasn't it, Finn?
