A week has passed since the events of the Winter Ball.

Krystal barely leaves the castle anymore. I think she's beyond embarrassed about what happened with Helia.

Speaking of who, he and I have been hanging out much more recently. In fact, He and Lillie asked the winx and specialists for help on his home planet. The specialists picked us up and we all head over.

"I wonder what it's like down there." Musa says, looking out the window as Timmy prepares to land.

"Do you think we'll have time to do some shopping when we get there?" Stella asks, causing Bloom to roll her eyes.

"We're going to help them with something important." Texan says, looking at her phone.

Brandon sighs. "I'll take you shopping after, Stella." He says, making Stella squeal in excitement.

The ship lands next to a forest, and we all exit to find Lillie and Helia waiting for us.

"Hey, guys." Helia says. "Thanks for coming out." He smiles over in my direction.

"So, what's going on here?" Riven asks, I see Musa roll her eyes.

Lillie opens her mouth to speak, but Helia cuts her off. "I really don't think this is anything to worry about." He says to her.

Lillie looks at him, a hint of anger in her eyes. "As the future king, it's your job to worry about these things, even if it ends up being nothing." She says to him, before turning to the rest of us. "A certain species of animal on our planet is 'in danger'." Helia says. "They're magic is weakening, and that's allowing people to hunt them easily." Lillie finishes.

"In the past, this species has always been able to take care of itself." Helia says to her. "But that was when they had their magic. If their magic is weakening, they can't take care of themselves. So we need to do something." Lillie says, looking out at the forest next to us.

"They live in there." She points. "Looks pretty dark in there." Stella says. Helia smiles. "That's because you're looking at it from out here." He tells her.

"Trust me. It's a lot brighter than we think." Lillie says, as she and Helia step inside. The rest of us shrug, and enter as well.

It holds true that the inside is a lot brighter than it looks.

"These are Glishrooms!" I exclaim, running over to a large one. As I touch it, it emits a bright light. Helia chuckles. "I've never actually seen one this close." I tell him.

"That's because they only grow here, in this forest." He says. I nod. "You would need a whole bunch of Luminous Moss if you wanted to grow it anywhere else. Even then, it's almost impossible to care for them." I say, admiring the Glishroom before me.

"Well, if anyone can do it, it's the Fairy of Nature. He says. I blush. "As much as I would love to believe that, you can't just pick them up and move them somewhere else. The second you try, it begins to wilt and die."

"Not only that, but the darkness in this forest gives the moss, and the Glishroom, it's illuminating properties." Lillie says, joining us.

"So," Bloom says, interrupting. "What species are we looking for exactly?" She asks.

"Oh. I guess we forgot to mention that." Helia says, rubbing the back of his neck. "We're looking for the Parafoxes." She pulls out her phone and shows a picture

(Look at the image above. Yes, I know it's just an Alolan Vulpix but I'm unoriginal so hush)

"That?" Musa asks looking at the picture. "Aww, it's so cute."

"It's cute," Lillie says. "But also deadly. I can emit gasses from any point on its body. A lot of them are dangerous so be careful not to inhale too much."

Riven starts to snicker. Lillie picks up a small rock and throws it at him. A small bump appears on his forehead.

"Now, let's continue."

We keep walking, Riven rubs his head.

"So, what exactly can these... vapors... do?" I ask. Lillie keeps walking. "Lots of things. Too many to list them all, but if it smells like watermelon-flavored gum, hold your breath." She tells me.

"Huh? Why?" Stella asks. Lillie turns around to face us but continues heading in the same direction. "Because it's been known  to have some sedative properties."

We all stay quiet.

"It knocks you out." She clarifies. "Oh." Brandon says.

"For how long?" Aisha asks.

"That depends on the Parafox's hostility level. It can be as little as a few minutes or as long as a few days. I think the longest a person has ever been knocked out for was about... a month and a half?" Lillie says, turning back around to look where she was going.

We all stop. "You mean to tell me that we're about to enter the domain of some dangerous creatures, knowing that they have the power to knock all of us out, and you're just ok with that?" Timmy asks. Lillie stops, and sighs. "If you don't do anything to them, than they should have no reason to harm you. People just tell that to kids to freak them out so that nobody comes in here to bother them. They aren't so hostile that they'll just attack you out of the blue. They just have they're guard up because people have hurt them in the past."

I can tell she's getting rather defensive about this...

"Look, if all of you want to turn back now, then that's fine. The only one who really needs to be here is Helia."

She continues walking. We all stay behind.

"Well, what do we do?" Sky asks.

To be continued...
