We all look at Bloom.
"What're we doing?" Sky asks.
Bloom looks around.
"We should help out. After all, that's what we came here to do." Bloom says, and we all follow after Lillie.
After a bit of walking, and complaining from Stella, we finally catch up to her. Lillie looks at us.
"Glad to see you guys came to join me." She says. Helia chuckles. "Well, we did come here to help."
"Technically, Helia, this mission is your royal duty as the prince of this kingdom, but I'll let you have this." Lillie says. We all look around the area.
"Any idea where the Parafoxes might be?" Bloom asks.
"Well, this is usually where everyone blacks out, so I'd say this area right here." Lillie says.
"Say wha-?"
Before Lillie could answer, we hear some evil-sounding laughter.
"What was that?!" Musa asks.
"Whatever it was, it can't be good." Lillie says. Suddenly, a large creature falls out of the bushes from behind Tecna.
"What is that?!" Aisha asks. "That's a parafox." Helia answers.
"what?! That does NOT look like the picture you showed us!" Stella says.
"This one is matured. Grown." Helia says to Stella. "Don't forget injured." Lillie says, kneeling beside it. Then, a voice rings throughout the area.
"Don't waste time on me." It says. Me and the rest of the winx look around. "Who said that?" I ask.
Helia grabs my hand. "I think the Parafox is talking to us." He says. "Telepathically." He finishes.
"Jeez! Is there anything this animal can't do?" Brandon asks.
"Actually, from what Lillie has told me, only the Alpha can do that." Helia says.
"All of you be quiet!" Lillie says.
"My time in this world is coming to a close." The Parafox says.
"We'll help you, can you tell us what happened?" Lillie asks.
"The hunters... I distracted them while the rest of my pack made it safely back home. But... I was foolish, and thought I could outrun them. They caught up to me and..."
"You don't need to say anymore. We'll get you help." Lillie says.
"That's nice of you to say, girl. But my time is almost up... My only wish is that the hunters don't make it back to my home..."
I gasp. "He's gonna-?" I look at Helia, who nods with a frown.
"My daughter... please keep her safe... I know that humans may have been the ones to do this to me, but I also know that not all of you are bad. Now I can join my best friend... in the afterlife."
"Afterlife..." Lillie whispers. She gasps suddenly. "Oh my gosh! You're-"
But the Parafox already disappeared. Faded away.
"That was dramatic." Musa says.
"Yes, but now we kind of know what's happening." Helia says.
"Huh?" Riven says.
"Hunters. They're killing off the Glishrooms and hunting the parafoxes. Without their magic, the poor things don't have a way to protect themselves." Lillie answers.
"So, where's his home? We should at least make sure the pack is safe." Bloom says. Lillie nods. "Well. The only way left to go is forward."
