Homework, the thing Alyssa sat for hours on end doing. If you think about it you probably waste endless hours on homework. Isn't that pathetic, like you could be doing something awesome in those many hours. Sorry no you have to waste that time on homework.
She was working on her vocabulary for science. She wrote acid, bases, and pH scale.
She turned her head for one second. When she looked back the page the words were Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Sleeping Beauty. Her chair fell over. The shock was so big she wanted to scream but no sound came out. She thought she must be going insane.
" Alyssa did you finish the vocab?" Her grandfather asked as she walked upstairs.
" I will do it tomorrow." She said as she continued walking upstairs.
She flopped on her bed. Her thoughts were exploding. It was like they were grenades and every time see had a thought BOOM!!! She couldn't think straight. How could her research for English have gotten on her science work. That was the one thought that kept coming into her head. It wouldn't go away no matter how hard she tried. Her brain had stopped working. Eventually she good so tried from thinking about this, she decided to take a walk.
Alyssa scribbled on a stick note a stuck it to the fridge. Normally she would have told her grandfather that she was going out but he was napping. The cold crisp air blew in her face as she opened the door and left. She walked slowly to the park. The time of autumn was perfect. Not to cold, but not hot ethier.
"Ow". She said as so etching fell on her. Alyssa looked up but there was only and old tree. When she turns to her feet she saw a key.
She raced home her heart pounding. Key in hand as she tried to find her book of fairy tales.
