My Review

Literally the notes I took for the movie while watching it-
OPENING:
-Cliche but good
-Young sonic is scary
-The fuck is Longclaw
-Knuckles' tribe??
-I wanna know more about longclaw

Ten Year gap:
-Nice job with the hot actor
-Liked they got sonic on screen again quickly
-Sonic saved the turtle omg that was cute
-Sonic and turtle is best thing
-Canon- Sonic hates mushrooms
-Crazy Carl is my favorite character
-Sonic is a stalker omg
-Sonic is bby
-I like the interracial couple
-Sonic is so alone and I'm so sad. I'm depressed now
-Sonic said "feel my power" (referencing the power he released which caused the power outage)
-If they don't say "Ro-butt-nik" I will scream
-Kinda wish it was still a fat old dude named "Eggman" but I understand cuz it's a bit more serious
-RobotnikxStone for life
-Robotnik gets an intellectual hard-on for his Sonic discovery
-"Goodbye cave" had me tearing up
-Tom wanting to kill raccoons makes me sad too
-Tom made a fuck up
-Classic sonic is naked joke
-Sonic falling on his face was hilarious
-Robtnik's scream made me smile
-"This feels excessive"- Sonic (yes, yes it does)
-Stone fucking loves Robotnik
-Sonic is cute when he's angry
-Sonic is A+ manipulator
-Sonic was me as a child on road trips
-Robotnik is scary
-Sonic is wholesome
-BAR FIGHT
-SONIC IS A MADMAN HOLY HECK! For a guy whos ran away his entire life he's got mad skills in bar fighting
-Love the music
-Sonic is a great fighter
-CHILLI DOG OMG YAS
-Canon- Sonic hates puns
-Sonic basically saying "I will get you killed"
-Robotnik is an egotistical weirdo
-Sonic learns his new power and does a cute dance. I approve.
-"I think that tank just had a baby"- Sonic (now I'm thinking about how Sonic learned about babies)
-Sonic and Tom are the best team *rip Tails
-Free convertable! (Referencing Tom's trick becoming toploess)
-Sonic's fur is like a heroine shock
-Why does everyone get scared of Sonic?
-Sonics eyelashes on fleek
-Sonics feet are like cat toe pads
-"Is that thing actually an alien?"- Pretzel Lady (no. He's a cat. )
-Sonics classic shoes made me tear up
-Sonic in bag scene is funny
-Ring noise A+
-Fight scene was A+
-Crazy Carl is still my favorite
-That eye pop-open scene scared me
-Sonic went super Saiyan
-Yes Sonic! Babe!
-Sonic could do the light show for every concert ever
-So they just gonna send a government agent into space and expect everyone else to be hunky-doory?
-THE GOV WAS REALLY LIKE "ITS OKAY YOU SENT OUR EMPLOYEE TO ANOTHER PLANET"
-Sonics apart of their family omgg my heart

-IF TAILS IS THERE THEN AMY'S GOTTA SHOW UP EVENTUALLY TOO, RIGHT?!?! RIGHT?!?!

Now my actual review placed in legible sentences-

The Sonic Movie was actually a blast to watch. It went from a shitty trailer starring a monster from another realm that kept me awake at night; to a great animated movie starring a lovable plush toy we all love. And yes, I believe the conspiracy that they purposely made Sonic look terrible first then had a backup in case the public didn't like their first design.

My favorite scene was actually when Sonic was in the bar and competing his bucket list- that was so wholesome and sweet! I also really really loved the fight scenes!

I was pleasantly surprised that they made Sonic's personality still enjoyable. Ig with the lack of constant robots and having to save a world everyday he wasn't as cocky and aggressive like he normally was in the comics.

All in all, I really enjoyed the movie.

The only part I didn't like was the mushroom island bit. I think they really missed an option to put Seaside or something there- a desolate island with only the ocean and huge-ass whales! But I also understand- and maybe I missed something, so my opinion is subject to change!
