OWLS-
MADDIE'S POV
"Let the OWLS begin, ABSOLUTELY no talking!" Professor McGonagall's voice echoed through out the Great Hall. The sound of scratching on parchment filled the room. The Owls were considerably easy, for me anyway. George and Fred on the other hand..
"Psst! Maddie! I need help!" George whispered.
"Bugger off Weasley!" I hissed back.
"No talking Madeline!" McGonagall said annoyed.
I glared at George, who started to giggle. The OWLs didn't take that long, and as I said before, they were considerably easy.
Fred, George and I walked to the common room, where we sat around the fireplace. I snuggled up into Fred's chest, and he played around with my hair. The date was June 12, with a week left of the school year. The dorms have been cleaned up and it looks quite deserted.
"What are you doing this summer Maddie?" George asked, turning his attention away from his Puking Pastilles to me.
"I don't really know. My family, well my adopted family lives in America. And I received an owl saying that I would need to stay with someone here.." I said, my voice trailing off.
"You could stay with us!" George and Fred said at the same time.
"Would it be okay with your family? I mean, I don't want to be a bother. "
The portrait door swung open and in came Ron, Harry and Hermione. "Of course we won't mind!" Ron said happily.
"Thanks guys!" I said to the Weasleys, pulling them into a hug.
"Umm Madeline, can I- uhh talk to you?" Harry asked quietly. I smiled at everyone as they left to go to the Great Hall for dinner. Harry sat next to me on the couch and looked flustered.
"So Harry, what's up?"
"Well, before you disappeared, you told me that you were my sister."
"Correction, I'm your half-sister."
"Oh, half-sister. Our father was James Potter. But who was your mother?" I thought for a moment, wondering whether or not I should tell him.
"My mom's Bellatrix Lestrange. So I'm technically Madeline Jane Lestrange Potter."
Harry's eyes grew wide and he looked at me. "But don't worry, I'm not like her. She's kind of crazy. And I think I'm a pretty normal person." I said, laughing. Harry smiled at me and he looked somewhat relieved.
"It's good to know that I have another family member other than those horrid gits, the Dursleys."
"Anything else you'd like to ask?"
"I heard you're some sort of witch that uses the elements."
"I'm a particularum pythonissam."
He took a while to try to say this, which only caused him and I to burst into fits of laughter. "Can you show me?" He asked eagerly.
"Fine, but then I want some dinner." He nodded anxiously. "Expecto Patronum." The fiery wolf shot out from my wand, and ran around the room. Harry was entranced at the wolf when he took out his wand.
"Expecto Patronum." He whispered. A stag was his patronus. Together the wolf and stag looked as though they danced around the room, in perfect harmony. The patronuses soon disappeared and we both locked eyes.
"Time for dinner little brother." I said, letting a tear of happiness roll down my cheek.
Together, Harry and I walked down to the Great Hall and was greeted by Fred, George, Ron and Hermione. Sure we were leaving Hogwarts in a week, but Hogwarts was and always will be my home.
