Forever and Always-

MADDIE'S POV

"So what happened when I.. er left?"  I asked everybody. We were all sitting around the fire, Jaime on my left, Fred on my right, Harry and Ron on the couch, and Hermione and Ginny on the floor.

"Well, Fred took you to the Hospital Wing, and we kind of just continued the dance. No one drank the punch of course." Ginny replied.

I turned to Fred, who was smiling at me. "Sorry I ruined the Yule Ball for you Freddie." I said guiltily.

"Madeline Potter! You did not ruin the Yule Ball! I'm just glad you're safe. Promise me to never ever die, ok?" He grinned.

"I don't know Fweddie, I had a pretty awesome dream where I saw Lily and James." I said sarcastically. When I finished my sentence, my eyes went wide. "HARRY! I saw Mum and Dad! Oh Harry they miss you so much!"

Harry got up and wiped a tear from his cheek. "Maddie, can you tell me what you saw? I really miss them." I nodded really fast and began to tell my story.

"And then before they left, they told me to tell you-" My sentence was cut short when my voice became mute.

"What's wrong?" Ginny asked.

I tried to reply, but everything started to become blurry. My body slowly turned transparent and all my friends became worried. Hermione, who was studying the place I had been, spoke up.

"Maddie, I don't know if you can hear me, but give into the light. We'll meet you in the Hospital Wing."

Give into the light? What did that mean? They all shuffled out of the common room and only then did I notice the light. It was coming towards me, but I pulled away. Taking a breath, I stopped pulling away and let the white light engulf me.

It was a rather pleasant feeling. I felt warm and tingly, like something warm was flowing through my body. I felt my stiff fingers against the bed sheets. I gripped the sheets, enjoying the feeling of cotton.

"Madeline?" A voice whispered.

I felt my cheeks burn as my lips formed a smile. The taste of something sweet lingered in my mouth. My heavy eyelids slowly opened and I saw people surrounding me.

"Maddie!" Ginny squeaked. She flung her arms around me and I let out a giggle.

"Gin, I happen to be her boyfriend, and I would love to see her too." Fred muttered sarcastically. Ginny released me and I lifted my self from the bed. Fred's lips crashed mine and I felt like all my problems were all gone. Someone had left out a cough and I retreated, turning pink. I looked to see Dumbledore, McGonagall, Madame Pomfrey and Snape staring at me.

"Miss Potter, how are you feeling?" Dumbledore asked kindly.

"Like I've slept forever."

Madame Pomfrey came over to me and pressed her hand against my forehead.

"Sir, what time is it?" I asked.

"1 in the morning."

"Can I go back to the dormitory?"

"Absolutely not!" Madame Pomfrey hissed.

"Professor Dumbledore, sir, pleeeeeease?"

"As you wish." I squealed with excitement and glanced around. Fred, George, Ron, Harry, Hermione, and Jaime were all here.

"But before you leave, can Miss Granger and Mr. Weasley escort Mr. Ryder and Miss Wills back to their dormitories?"

"Which Weasley?" Fred, George and Ron said in unison.

"Ronald." Ron got up and with Hermione and took Jacob and Amanda out of the Wing. I stood up and started to walk around.

"May we leave too?"George asked. Dumbledore nodded. All six of us set out, but before leaving the Hospital Wing, I poked my head back in.

"Professor Snape?"

"Yes?" He said in a monotone voice.

"Thank you." He looked quite surprised, because when I said it, his eyes grew wide, and I swear I saw a smile appear on his face.

Walking back to the dormitories consisted of hugs, laughter, and smiles.

When we reached the common room, none of us was tired. Jaime sat on George's lap and I sat on Fred's, still in my ball dress. Ginny retreated into the girls dormitory, and Harry stayed, sitting on the ground.

"Maddie?"

"Hmm?"

"What did mum and dad tell you?" He whispered. I got off of Fred's lap and sat next to Harry. I took his hand in mine and I saw he was tearing up.

"Harry, mum and dad told me to tell you the they miss and love you. And good luck on your next task." I paused and looked into his teared up eyes. "Harry James Potter, mum and dad will always be watching over you. They'll always love you forever and always." He attacked me in a hug and I gently hugged him back.

"Love you Maddie."

"Love you Harry." He stood up and smiled, before retreating into the boy's dorms.

After about an hour, Jaime soon fell asleep, and I did too not long after. The Twins were already asleep, so it only made the situation cuter.
