Chapter 1 - Rain Storms

I let out a short sigh before taking a stretch, feeling my back pop.
"That feels better now."
I muttered, pushing myself up onto my feet. But before I could even do anything, my phone buzzed. I grabbed it off my bed and checked what had come through.

'Rain storms starting soon'

'Perfect. I'm in a good mood for a rain storm.'
I thought to myself, mindlessly making my way to the wardrobe, opening its doors and looking for a hoodie to throw over my shirt.
Red? No.
White? No.
My hand glided over the sleeves, trying to find the perfect color, finally I found it.
A black hoodie with an orange 'X' on the chest, green lining on the sleeves and bottom, and orange lining on the hood. I took it off the hanger and slid it on, shutting the door and reaching for my phone and earbuds.
I had to do a few errands, and I preferred doing it during storms, where most people would be in their dorms or staying at home. It was also rather... Calming? To walk in the rain. For me anyways. It got my mind off of things and was soothing to hear.
My feet guided me back over to my bed, allowing me to grab my wallet and keys. I threw them into my pocket before plugging my earbuds in and turning on some music.
My journey begins now.
I left my dorm and locked the door, walking over to the elevator and entering, pressing the lobby button. Though, when I got to the lobby I noticed something off. Everyone was down there. Half crowded around the TV and the other half in the kitchen-dining area.
"Oh hey Kacchan! Todoroki and Momo are cooking dinner! Would you like some? Todoroki is taking requests on types of soba to make while Momo is making desserts."
I waved them off as a no and began my way out of the building.
"Where are you going? It's about to storm."
I looked down and turned my music up, sliding my phone into my pocket afterwards.

As my items started to get rung up, I felt eyes on me.
'Must be a shy fan. Just don't pay attention to it and get ready to leave.'

"That will be forty-seven dollars and seventy-three cents, sir."
I glanced up at the cashier and nodded, flashing a slight smile as I grabbed my wallet, pulling out a fifty and handing it to her.
"Keep the change, ma'am, have a good day."
I slipped the three bags onto my left arm and left the store, taking the escalator down to the first floor of the mall, making a bee-line towards the pretzel shop. I ordered a large batch of soft pretzel bites and an orange soda, quickly paying and waiting for it to be prepared.
As it was being prepared, I shifted and listened as my music changed.

Hostage
-
Billie Eilish

Good song.
I perked my head up when I heard my name called over the music.
"Thank you, sir."
I whispered, watching the cashier grin and wave before he handed me the food and drink I had ordered.
"Have a good day! Keep your training up, young one!"
I noticed that the feeling of eyes was still on me. But I decided to pay no mind to it, quickly taking my leave, not wanting to draw any attention to myself.

I pulled out one of my earbuds as the rain began, grinning lightly at how slow it began.
"This is a good rain storm. One that starts slow then speeds up."
I murmured to myself, taking a drink of my orange soda afterwards.

"Hey!"
A sudden tap came to my shoulder. I turned around to see who was disrupting my rainy walk.
"I see you have alot of things you're carrying, do you want any help?"
As none other, the one who tapped my shoulder was the red-haired equal.
Eijirou Kirishima.

"Ah, um. No, not really."
I grumbled, quickly trying to gather my act of the jerk. Though, he seemed to pay no mind to my comment and slipped the bags off my arm, leaving me free to carry my soda and pretzels.
"Oh well, I was going to do it either way!"
He gleamed, a large smile framing his face.

"Geez, why are you out here late, and when it's rainy?"
I questioned, scanning him from the corner of my eye.
"I could ask you the same question! But... I was out here to grab some things for Mina and Denki, they're planning something for the Jurassic Park franchise."
"Ah, sounds intriguing. I'm guessing that Eri is joining, seeing as you clearly have two sacks with bags upon bags full of candy."
I inquired, wanting to grimace at the idea of a child watching movies with a loud class of twenty. There were only a few quiet people that came to mind when I thought of my class.
Those students were Todoroki and Shinsou, Then sometimes Kirishima, Jirou, Denki, Sero, and Ojirou.

"Yea! We haven't seen her for awhile so Mr. Aizawa is letting her join us!"
He seemed ecstatic, clearly wanting to talk on and on about it, but he stopped, as if he noticed something.
"Wait... You have piercings!?"

"Uh, yea...? You haven't noticed them before?"
I asked, puzzled. Sure I took them out before training, but I had them in for the rest of the time.
"No, I didn't, but they look sick! I've always admired people who could pull off vertical snake bites!"
I felt a small blush creep onto my cheeks but quickly hid it, acting annoyed.
"Just shut it."

"You know, I think we should hang out more, Bakugou! You're actually a pretty cool guy, despite what everyone says."

I plopped the bags down on my bed, my wallet, phone, keys, and earbuds following soon after, hitting the mattress with a small thump.
Before I went to put stuff away, I turned my computer on and pulled up some music.
Tonight was going to be a good night, but tomorrow... I'm not too sure.
