I woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat. I just had the weirdest nightmare. Jaehyun and Rośe were getting married ... Lisa started groaning and grunting in her sleep as she turned over a little. I laid back down, attempting to not over stress myself about what Jaehyun and Rośe were up to. Of course they liked each other. There was no covering that up or convincing me otherwise. Why else would she just run after him like that?

The next morning, my eyes slowly opened but it took me a while to move as I lied there, thinking about Jaehyun. I slowly sat up, not realizing Lisa was no longer next to me. I continued to get up as I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and put my outfit from yesterday back on.

I suddenly heard laughter coming from the kitchen as I made my way to it. "Yes! I think you should." Lisa said as her and her mom laughed. "Oh! Goodmorning Maria!" Lisa smiled as she made her way towards me. She planted a gentle kiss on my cheek before hugging me. "How'd you sleep beautiful?" She smiled a very cheeky smile. I shrugged. "Okay I guess, haha." I told her. My heart was feeling heavy, but I'll get through it I guess. "I was thinking of actually heading to the comic book store. I'm pretty sure I'm fired now so I guess I'll go return my badge." I told her. "Oh no. I forgot about that place." She frowned. "Yeah, every since your twin caused a-"
Lisa suddenly started clearing her throat, gesturing for me not to speak about that. I gave her a confused look. "Good morning." I told her mom, trying to change the subject. She smiled. "You know, if you need a job that actually pays you, I can help you." She offered. I smiled. "Thanks! I'll take it into consideration."
Lisa nodded as she grabbed a pair of keys from the kitchen counter. "K mom, we're going to go. Maria has to go to work. Love you." She told her mom as they both exchanged hugs and kisses. I slowly walked out of the house. Feeling the sun setting on my skin gave me a warm and comforting feeling, but nothing could replace the emptiness I felt inside. "Hey Maria?" Lisa started. "Yeah?" I said. "My mom ... she doesn't exactly know about my "twin" so can you please not speak about that? Especially in front of her. She'll freak." I nodded slowly, trying to understand why her mom wouldn't want to know what her own daughter was up to. "Uh, yeah sure!" I assured her, but something was definitely off.
