Disaster

Elena collapsed at the base entrance. She wasn't able to open it but was sure they all heard her.

She could hear and see but couldn't move. Everything in her hurt. The pain from facing her siblings. A single tear ran down her eyes.

"Elena!" she heard her older brother Eclipse yell. She couldn't move her head from the stiffness. "Elena! Oh my god! Speak to me!" Eclipse collected his little sister and held her close. All Elena could do was stare at him.

Eclipse ran into the medbay. Keeping Elena close to his chest. "Just stay with us." he whispered in her bleeding ear. Elena winced at how loud he sounded. She wished she could move.

Tears ran down her eyes as she set down on the medbay. Elena shot her eyes all around. She sees Eclipse and Ratchrt arguing. She wished she could shout at them to help her.

Her body suddenly was able to move. Her voice woke up and she shouts,"JUST FUCKING HELP ME!" Tears of both anger and pain ran down her cheeks. She looked ready to tear up a bone.

Ratchet quickly began working. He looks over her wounds and was hurrying quickly. Making sure he would save her in time.

Elena passed out and didn't feel like waking up. Her eyes opened up after what felt like a few seconds. She found herself lying in bed. She discovers that her body was bandaged up. There were no clothes on her body. All she could feel was the bandages.

Slowly, she sits up. Hissing when pain shot through her body.

Her door opens up and Elena saw it was Predaking. A weak smile came to her lips when she saw him. "Hey......" she trailed off from the sleepiness she felt. Predaking smiled back at her. He walks up to her bed and gets down on his knees to be at eye level with her.

"How are you feeling?" Predaking asked. "Like crap." Elena replied. She runs her fingers through her tussled hair. "How long was I asleep?" she asked sleepily. "A few days. Ratchet said you may have a concussion. Your bones were bruised and broken." Predaking explained to her. He ran his fingers through her hair. A small smile came to Elena's lips.

Closing her eyes. Elena takes slow deep breaths. The memory of the brutal fight she faced came across her mind. She began to whimper from the memory of killing Eco. "Daemon is still alive. Eco is dead." Elena says. She wished she could stop reliving the nightmare.

"Star is dead." Elena then said. She allows her tears to fall. "All we need to do is kill Daemon before the Summer Solstice and this war won't happen." Elena whispered. She ran her fingers over the bandages. Able to feel the gashes under them.

She looks at her mate. Seeing how worried Predaking is.

"Elena-"

"Eco was trying to convince Megatron to help her in the battle. If Star didn't get in the way she would've convinced him to help. She sacrificed her life to help."

Fresh tears ran down Elena's eyes. She vowed to protect her family and she failed again. First, losing her sister, then her daughter. And now her little sister. "I promised to protect her and I failed. What if I'm not good enough to be the Guardian of Earth?" Elena asked Predaking. "What if it was just an accident I was chosen? What if-"

She wasn't able to finish when Predaking kissed her. Slipping his tongue inside her mouth. Elena was caught by surprise but she soon settled into the kiss. She slowly wrapped her arms around Predaking's neck.

"You talk too much. You need rest." Predaking whispered when they broke away for air. Elena slowly nodded but gave him another kiss. A small whimper coming out of her mouth. Predaking slowly slips into the bed with her. Sure not to squash her. He wraps his arm around her waist and held her close to him.

"Remind me if we ever have kids that I will not be handling the boys." Elena suddenly mumbled. It got Predaking to shoot his head at her. Completely caught by surprise but what she said. "I guess." was all he could say. "I will kill Daemon." Predaking suddenly said.

Looking up at Predaking like he was crazy. "What! Predaking, you can't just kill him. He's too dangerous."

"Elena, I need to prove myself to your family. You are too weak to fight." Predaking said. He ran his claws over her face. "I will kill him for you." Predaking whispered before he gives Elena another kiss. He gets off the bed and walks out of the room.
