One fine day, at school, Oliver and Barry were in the Kindergarten class, along with other batchmates kids in the class, when the teacher walked in with a small, cute, fair girl, with beautiful blue eyes, that shined like Crystal's, and wearing a ponytail and a pair of glasses,
"Good morning students, I want you'll to meet someone," Ms. Pepper added, walking in with a girl,
"Good morning, Ms. Pepper," the students greeted the teacher back,
"This is Kara Danvers, your new batchmate from today onwards," she added glancing at the students to little Kara, standing infront of her, "Kara, why don't you introduce yourself to them?!"
And little Kara being nervous, shrugged, "Ummm... yeah" and took a step forward and added, "Hi... friends...I am Kara Danvers, and...I am from Midvale, Originally..." She added in a soft nervous tone and here is when all kids were looking at her, and among them was these two, Oliver and Barry,
"Hey Ollie, look at her eyes, man, she indeed has Crystal blue eyes," Barry added softly, hitting Oliver with his elbow and Oliver who was sitting there with his arms held crossed together, with a broody face, "yeah yeah whatever..." He replied being broody,
"So kids, welcome Kara here, and be good to her!" The teacher added after Kara Finished introducing herself,
"We will miss, pepper," some kids replied along with Barry, but Oliver was quite,
"Good," the teacher added with a smile and Kara walked to the bench infront of Oliver and Barry, which was empty, and both boys were taken a bit by her beauty but Oliver was quite, he didn't react n neither did Barry,
"now let's continue yesterday's lessons," the teacher added further, to begin with, the lessonsTwo Days Later...
Oliver and Barry were walking home when they noticed something unusual from a park across the street, and both decided to check on it, and waking to it, and peeping in, bushes they saw Kara throwing the ball up into the sky, and flying up to catch it... And in the sense, she was playing alone,
"Wow, look, Ollie, she has magic!" Barry added in the softest tone, and Oliver added being broody, with his arms held cross together, as they both were kneeling and hiding behind the bushes, "Barry, there is no such thing as magic, you know that well!"
"But Ollie, how will you explain that?!" Barry added pointing at Kara playing alone in the same way,
"Whatever... I don't believe it!" Oliver sighed denying to believing,
"Come on Ollie, don't be mean, let's talk to her," Barry added being ready to make friendship with Kara because he was now curious,
"You go in, I'm not coming!" Oliver added firmly but Barry was not gonna listen and dragging his best pal, he added, "Come on, Ollie! Don't be shy!" And he walked into the park, holding Oliver's arm, and Kara was startled as she heard the sound of dry leaves rumbling, and turned to them,
"You... two...what are you doing here?!" Kara added in a sweet tone, firmly, with her arms held cross together and a little crinkle on her forehead, as she knew what came next,
"Wow, Kara! You have magic!" Barry added as he was intrigued by her,
"Ummm... It's not...magic...though..." Kara sighed looking away, and Oliver muttered, "told you, Barr, magic isn't real," but Kara continued,
"...Ummm... They are my powers!"
"What?! You got powers?!" Barry Questioned her being shocked, "but how?!" and Kara fixing her glasses replied,
"Yes... apparently...ummm...it's a long story boy's!"
"Okay, I understand that... But I'm curious how," Barry added,
"Ummm... I'm--- I'll tell you'll some other day," Kara replied back as she wasn't sure how to tell them,
"Fair enough!" Barry added, "but why are you playing here?! All alone?! You could have played with other kids"
"Ummm...yeah, like nobody...takes me in their gang, at school they call me--" Kara was explaining looking down and Oliver added interrupting her, "-- glasses! They call her glasses!"
And Kara sighed looking down and Barry turned to Oliver and added, "Ollie!" And Oliver shrugged,
"...and ponytail!" Kara further added being sad,
"But Kara, we don't call you that, I'm Barry by the way...and he is my friend Oliver," Barry added being kind introducing himself and Oliver as he extended his little hand to Kara, but Oliver stayed there with her arms held crossed together, and Kara, accepting his hand, and shaking it, added, "nice to meet you, Barry," and turning to Oliver she offered him a handshake, "...and you too, Oliver," but he didn't react but Kara understood that he must be not very found with shaking hands with girls,
"And now I'm that you know us, you can play with us... I can give you my Flash ball," Barry added,
"Ohh, Ummm...Sure!" Kara muttered fixing her glasses, with a nervous smile,
"Yeah, don't count me in!" Oliver added with her arms held crossed together, still being unfriendly, as the first thing, she was a new girl, and second, he didn't believe in powers,
"Come on Ollie, just one game!" Barry tried to convince him so that Kara doesn't feel bad,
"Ummm, No offense Barry and Kara, I got a project to do," Oliver added giving excuse,
"No, you don't, and it's not even a weekend for Ms. Peppers to give us homework or projects," Barry knew well that he was lying,
"You don't know Barry... you do your thing... Play with Kara or do whatever you want, I'm out!" He firmly added being embarrassed and angry coz Barry pointed out his lies and walked off and Kara felt weird, strange, and hurt a bit, by such harsh behavior,
"doesn't he like me?!" She questioned Barry in a sad tone,
"Oh nothing personal, Kara, he is like that with everyone," Barry replied trying to explain to her,
"Ohh," she replied looking down, so Barry placed his hand on her shoulder and added, "don't worry Kara, he will come along.
