(Nobody's pov)
You're currently walking to a party with your...friend? Lynera. If you're being honest, "friend" seemed like a very weird way to describe you guys' relationship, since this was technically only your second time meeting her, but it made the most sense, so just go with it. She had a nervous look on her face, her anxiety about the party growing more obvious as you neared the hive. You just reached down and grabbed her hand, holding it as you two walked side by side.
As the hive drew closer and closer, you could hear the music from inside grow louder, to a point where it almost hurt your ears. Almost. Trolls lined the sidewalks on the street, definitely all there for the party. Speaking of the party, you had no idea why lynera decided to invite you of all people to come with her to it, and the only answer she gave you was that she decided you two needed to make some new friends. Honestly, her answer left you with more questions than answers, but you didn't want to push. Anyway, you realized that you didn't really know who's hive you were going to, but as you neared the front door, the answer to this question hit you like a truck. It was Ardata's hive.

Lynera steps inside of the hive and you follow behind her, taking in the sight of all the drunk teens and flashing lights. You were sort of expecting something different than this for an alternian party, but you're not judging. In fact, the similarities to earth parties actually help you feel more at home. Lynera on the other hand, looked as anxious as she possibly could be, practically clinging to your arm like a lost child. You allowed her to keep this up. despite wanting to actually enjoy yourself, you were here for your friend. She frantically looked around the sea of teens dancing and being chaotic, looking for someone it seemed. "Hey Lyn, you good? You're kinda...panicking? It seems?" You said, looking down at her. She flung herself off your arm, her face covered in a jade blush. "-!!! IM NOT PANICKING !!!" She said, or more like yelled. "- i'm just looking for someone is all" She mumbled, though you could barely hear her over the blaring music. "Well alright then.." you said, chuckling softly at her blushing face. She turned away from you, going back to searching for this mysterious person she supposedly needed to find.
(Timeskip a few minutes)
after a few minutes of standing in silence with lynera, you finally mustered up the courage to leave her and have your own fun. You started to walk away, when you felt her roughly tug on your shirt. You groan and turn back to face her. Her blush had worsened, growing darker and spreading farther across her face. "-i think i've spotted him (y/n)" she mumbled, biting at her lip. You groaned, roughly pulling your arm away from her grasp. "Gog Lyn, if you brought me here just to watch some stupid boy then I'm just going to leave you here by yourself!" You say, now very annoyed that you stood here for 30 minutes when you could have been doing drugs in the bathroom. "-im sorry (y/n), don't leave!" She begged. You had an idea. "It's fine. What's this dude's name anyway?" You ask her, a smirk starting to grow on your lips. She seems to get flustered even thinking about his name. "oh, its uhm..lanque. lanque bombyx." She said. You nodded, deciding it was for her own good to put your plan into play.
