The omega had tried to stop the man from throwing him out of the house but it had been all in vain; it always ended in this way and by now he had lost hope.
Emotionally wounded, Jungkook returned to his animal form, hiding behind the appearance of a small puppy with a pitch coat.
He had been wandering from village to village for months looking for someone to take him as a companion but every alpha he encountered had rejected him.
It wasn't his fault, it wasn't his intention to use them as a replacement but what else could he do?
Jungkook didn't want to die, he didn't want to surrender to the sad fate that life had reserved for him, he didn't want to be alone for the rest of his days.
The little wolf shook its muzzle, driving away the tears and walked towards the woods in the direction of yet another village; he was tired, hungry and pained but maybe this time someone would host him.
He continued to paw with a low snout until he heard some noises and a subsequent snarl that made him petrify on the spot; he looked around terrified and his gaze fell on a large wolf with a gray fur accompanied by others with brown fur.
«You made our prey run away!» snarled the gray wolf making Jungkook yelp in displeasure. The big wolf was an alpha, he felt it. «Don't you have anything to say?! They were our supplies for the heck winter!» he snarled yet again scratching the ground on the ground.
Jungkook became even smaller, lowering himself and bowing his muzzle in a sign of submission, he was humiliating himself in front of them, that's how he learned to survive their anger. Alpha love to see omega submit to them, it is useless to deny it, it is written in their dna.
«What the hell are you?» asked the gray wolf more calmly advancing towards him with grandeur. He stopped a few centimeters from the black wolf and began to smell the air around him. «Omega» he said only before looking at the small fur ball still curled up and frightened, trembling and yelping as a sign of forgiveness. «What are you doing here? This is the alpha hunting ground»
Jungkook hid his muzzle between his paws undecided whether to venture or not to respond. That wolf was an alpha, he shouldn't have allowed himself.
«Heck how boring you omega, it's not difficult to answer me, you know? But how is it possible that to make you do something, is always necessary to force you?» he snarled again approaching him and turning around waiting for his answer.
It was strange that an omega was over there just as it was strange that he had crossed the hunting line delimited by the alpha. Yet that little black wad didn't even seem those arrogant omega or beta, convinced they could do whatever they wanted; he was damned terrified and this could only make this situation a mere coincidence.
The gray wolf came closer to him. «Speak or I'll kill you» he said, making him yelp with more force.
«I-I have to reach the mountain clan..» he managed to say in a trembling and damn low voice; only the gray wolf could feel it given the proximity, the other two simply looked confused.
«Our village then.. Well, since you've ruined our hunt we'll have to postpone it until this afternoon» he snorted, repositioning himself in front of him. «Come, we will accompany you»
Jungkook raised his face from his paws, finally looking into the eyes of the wolf who didn't seem so bad then. This then signaled him to follow him and under his attentive gaze, Jungkook got back on all fours ready to head for the village.
He took a few steps towards the alpha but then fell back to the ground, closing his eyes from the pain in his legs. «What do you have?» the alpha asked, slightly alarmed, bringing his muzzle closer to that of Jungkook who immediately began to yelp, indicating his paws.
The gray wolf didn't understand exactly what he had because externally there was no wound that prevented him from proceeding, but in the end he resigned himself and bit him the scruff of the neck, transporting him to the village.
The black wolf was surprised by that gesture but let himself be carried away by the alpha, keeping his eyes always low towards his dangling legs.
He ended up falling asleep.

When Jungkook woke up, there was no sign of the grey wolf. He looked around noting that he was as usual in his animal form, but one detail caught his attention: his legs were covered with some bandages.
«You woke up, baby» a woman entered the tent, approaching him and Jungkook - unconsciously - hid his face again between his paws.
He was an omega and as such he only had to prostrate himself in front of any other being. He was worth nothing.
He was the lowest step on the large social ladder.
«Don't be like that, I'm an omega too, there's no need to prostrate» she tried to reassure him by gently taking his paw in his hands. «How long have you been walking without ever resting? Your joints have been strained for too long and ended up giving way» she explained, then lifting his nose. «I would be able to heal you better if you returned in your human form..» and although the woman's intent was precisely to encourage him, he shook his nose and went back to hiding as usual among his injured legs. «As you wish.. Ah! Then, when you have rested, you should move on to thank Namjoon, it is not usual to be so docile with an omega, especially if as reactive as you are» the woman said, attracting her attention.
«N-Namjoon?»
«Yes, the grey wolf who brought you here. He told me he found you in their hunting ground»
«I'm sorry..» he lowered his ears making the woman who started stroking him chuckle.
«Quiet, I'm happy that for the first time Namjoon has treated an omega well outside me, at least he still has respect for his mom» she chuckled before getting up and offering him a bowl of water and food. «You should eat something, you're visibly malnourished. I'll check on you later, okay?» and slowly Jungkook nodded.
He had always been afraid of turning into human form and the only times he did it was to join someone. Even with the man from the previous village it had happened that way; the alpha had said he wanted to markhim, he had trusted him and consequently had returned to human form. Too bad that the man also had something else and decided to kick him out by calling him a profiteer.
But it wasn't like that, Jungkook was not a profiteer and yet it was always difficult to believe him.
After all, Jungkook had already been mated.
