Not knowing whether he would live or die was the worst feeling in the world. He meant everything to

me. He was my life, my friend, and my whole being. He had sacrificed everything for me. All I could

do was to pray for a miracle. He laid there motionless and frail. What have I done. You’re probably

wondering what happened. It’s complicated but here you go.

It was a bright sunny morning in December. Jake and I were the closed we had ever been. I mean

who wouldn’t be after being together for a year. This was the morning when things started to change.

Past:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I turned off the alarm and got out of bed. I was ready to begin my

slow and relaxed morning routine when I heard a car pull into my driveway. I ran around my room,

frantically trying to find something to wear. I ended up finding some skinny jeans and a ruffled top that

I paired with some combat boots. I ran downstairs to see my mom making an amazing breakfast. I felt

bad having to rush out and not eat what she had made.

“ Sorry mom, Jake’s here and I gotta go” I said

Finally I could leave. To my surprise Jake was standing outside the classroom. I went up to him and

he placed a gentle, passionate kiss on my lips. As always I blushed. He always make me feel good.

“How was class?” he said sliding his arm around my waist

“It sucked. All we did was take notes.” I replied

“How was English?” I said with a smirk

“You know I hate English!” he said with a straight face.

“I know. That’s why I said it.” I looked at him and laughed

The next thing I know is that I was up in the air. He had picke me up and slung me over his shoulder.

I screamed “ Put me down, Put me down, Please, I surrender.”I laughed as he lowered me to the

ground.

It was time for class to start. The only good thing about the next class was that Jake and I were in the

same History class. We sat next to each other at a table near the back of the room. This allowed us to
