Rye's point of view
I ran back to my room and slammed the door behind me. This kid really thinks he spoke to my mom. It's inpossible, she's dead! And he is the reason she is dead now. The day he gets out of that hospital bed he's gonna be locked up again. I don't wanna see him, ever again!
I got up again and left my room, full of anger! I walked outside before I shift into my wolf form. My eyes were red full of anger as I start running into the nowhere. I ran fast and far untill I reached a little lake. I changed back to my human form as I sat down in the grass.
"Why even lock him up if I can get him killed anyway?" I say to myself.
'But you had to chance to kill him before but you didn't.' My inner self told me.
"I- I..."
"Because you Luke him." A female voice said and I do remember that voice.
"Mom?" I ask but never got an answer. Was it really her? Maybe Andy was right, maybe he did met her cuz he was on the edge of dying.
"I'm going insane now." I say to myself. I got up again and start walking back to the castle. Once I reached it, I've met my father in the hall.
"My son, I was looking for you." He says. He wasn't looking happy, being really serious. It was worrying me. We walked to his office and sat down.
"What is it father?" I ask him worried.
"It won't be long anymore." He says.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"I'm getting ill... I won't make it untill the end of the week son." He tells me.
"No... no... that can't be true." I say not believing him.
"I'm sorry son, you will soon take over." He says with a weak smile.
"But I'm not ready yet." I say. "I haven't found a Luna yet."
"What about Andy, I thought you were getting around with each other?" He asks.
"I never wanna see him again!" I shout, not the whole 'take Andy as your Luna' discution again.
"Rye you can't rule this pack on your own, you have to find a Luna." He says. "But if you Seems not to like Andy, we'll have to find you someone else."
"How?"
"Tomorrow... tomorrow night, we're having a party with all potential omega's for you to find the one you like." He tells me and I had no choice to agree. I will soon find an omega to bond with. To rule with but most important, to make pups, someone who will take over after me when it's time for me to go.
