Chapter 18

Andy's point of view.

A few days after I told Rye I never wanted to see him again, I went for a walk with Brook to clear my mind and get outside, cuz I've been in my room for days. Today was also the day Rye would take his father's place so everyone was getting ready for that.

"He haven't found his Luna yet." Brook told me. "And omega's are all over him cuz everyone wanna take that spot."

"He's worthless anyway." I tell him.

"You know the only reason you're still out here, alive is because of his father." Brook says. "I heared him talking about his plans with the whole fowler pack when he gets's the power."

"He won't kill me." I say. "He tried that before and he couldn't."

"He's going after your family Andy." Brook says. "Only you can stop this."

"How, he's selfish and don't want me around anyway." I say.

"You're pushing him away, let him in." He says.

"I did that before and it almost got me killed." I tell him.

We went back to the castle as we need to get ready for the event to take place. Brook and I dressed up nice before joining the rest of the pack outside waiting for the king and his son to come up. The place was filled with omega's dresses up only hoping Rye would see them. Everyone is so pathetic to be his Luna. It's not like he will treat you nice, he will only see his Luna as a baby making machine.

The alpha king and Rye arrived and so it started. I wasn't paying much focus on everything that was going on. Just thinking about my pack. What is he planning on doing to my family?

A bit later everyone start cheering. I looked up to see it happened. The alpha king gave his spot to his son and Rye now has the power to rule this pack.

Soon all the cheering was stopped when Rye all suddenly felt on the floor and panic took over. Everyone start running away, all in diffrent directions. Some felt and even got run over. I grabbed brook's hand and ran up to the stage where Rye and his father were. I got up and see Rye got shot. He was bleeding from his shoulder but was still breathing.

Guards were everywhere, looking for the one who shot Rye but there was no one. They helped Rye get up inside to his room. A doctor ran inside the room as well to take care of his shot wound.

I wanted to get inside but got stopped by a guard. He took both of my hands and tied them together.

"Leave him alone!" Brook shouts, pushing the guard but he just pushed Brook hard into the ground.

"You're going back up into the dungeons untill Rye gets to decide what to do with you." Robbie says as he walks up to me. A tear leaving my eye.

"Why? He didn't do anything?" Brook asks him.

"His pack just tried to kill our Alpah." Robbie said.

"You're not sure about that!" Brook shouts. But I got dragged away from them. I saw Brook breaking down into tears and so did I. Back into the dungeons where it all started.
