Chapter 2 - Meeting Him

Stephanie's Point Of View.

So to my surprise people actually noticed me and were shocked of my arrival at the new school. Some of them greeted me so nicely, while the others just gossiped to their friends with the usual "Oh my god is that stephanie? Why is she back? How is she back? When did she come back?"
It got annoying, and i was only 5 minutes into the school day.

As Maddie and I walked through the hallways, she grabbed my shoulder with excitement and pulled me back.

"Look, there he is!" she said while jumping a bit.

"Dude i'm so nervous, i don't even know if he remembers me honestly. What if he doesn't? What if I just make a complete fool out of myself? That would be so embarassing Mel. I think i shouldn't talk to him, if i'm lucky he'd just come up to me." I explained.

"You're right. You want me to introduce you to him? Probably he would remember then." Madz came up with a good idea, for once. Haha.

I agreed to Maddie's little plan and we walked up to him. Maddie tapped him on the shoulder, he was talking with his guy friends and he said excuse me to them and walked towards us.

As he turned around, I saw the little boy i had a crush on, and my thoughts were just... well, 'Damn!'. He turned out to be hotter than i thought.

"Hey Maddie, what's up? Mind introducing me to your beautiful friend?" He said while piercing his shiny dark eyes into my light brown eyes.

"Her name is Stephanie King, ring a bell?" Madz said.

"Oh my god! Steph? Oh my gosh. Are you for real? Oh my, come here and give me the biggest hug ever! What has it been, like 7 years? You look so different! You're actually hot! You're not as geeky as you were when you were at the age of 10!" He said as he chuckled, it was a cute chuckle by the way.

"Jeremy Scott. You don't look so bad yourself." I said as i winked playfully at him. I honestly was so happy to see him again, he was the person i told literally everything to. Well, except the fact that i liked him.

When i turned around i noticed that Maddie was gone, i asked Jeremy where she went and he had no clue.

"I should get to class now." I said.

"Yeah me too haha, we'll talk in recess? I have Bio now." he said and asked.

"No way i have Bio too! Well this is cool i guess haha." i said cheekily. I felt so embarrassed for some reason.

The bell rang and Jeremy and i walked to class together. Outside of the classroom door, he held me and spoke to me for a bit.

"We have so much to catch on, Steph. I missed you so much, you don't even know how much i missed my best friend, my little idiot. You were my everything." Jeremy said with a smirk.

"I totally agree, Jer. I missed you too, a lot. There wasn't a day that passed and i never thought of you." I said really gratefully because i was finally able to tell him how much i missed him and how much he has been on my mind.

Now this is the part where we hugged for like 3 minutes straight and i had to hold myself back from kissing him, even on his cheek.

Jeremy is an amazing person and i'm so happy i am back in Miami with all of my friends and especially him.
