"Hana, wait up!"
Eight year old Park Hana was in front of her house, running away from her friends trying to protect her gummy bears. Although, the eight boys were starting to catch up with her.
"You'll never get these! They're all mine!" She giggled as one of the boys tackled her to the ground. It was the oldest of them, Chan, who decided to tickle her until Hana eventually released her grip on the bag.
"Hey Seungmin, catch," Chan yelled as he quickly grabbed the bag. He threw it towards Seungmin, who darted towards Hana's front door, which suddenly opened right as he approached it.
"What are you doing?" The little girl who stood in the doorframe asked curiously. She looked up at him only to notice he was holding candy. Her face dropped.
"ARE YOU A CANDY BURGER?!" She looked frightened, and saw her sister with some other boys walking towards the two.
"Hana, you can't hang out with a burger. It's dangerous. Him and his friends will get you in trouble," The little girl pouted and ran to hug her sister. Seungmin crouched down to offer her gummy bears, which she gladly took before running back behind her sister.
"Haseul, it's 'burglar', not 'burger'. And don't worry they aren't that bad. They're my friends," Hana tried to reassure the younger, but the little girl was already too preoccupied with eating to pay attention to her sister's explanation.
"Hana, your sister is adorable. Hi there! I'm Felix," The boy introduced himself while crouching down in front of Haseul, giving her a small wave.
"Eh. My cats are cuter," One of the boys examined the five-year-old, only to retract his statement after being shot a glare, "JUST KIDDING... HA. Ha. ha..."
"I don't like that one. He's mean," Haseul pointed to the boy who had just spoke.
"That's why we call him Meanho," Haseul giggled at the comment. Her older sister's friends seemed decent enough to her, except Meanho, and they made her laugh.
After Felix's and Minho's introductions, Haseul met the rest of the boys: Chan and Changbin, who were the same age as Minho; Jeongin, who was two years older than her; and Jisung, Hyunjin, and Seungmin, all of which were the same age as Felix and her sister. Soon enough, the boys started to get competitive.
"Haseul, they want to know who's your favorite," Hana told her younger sister while gesturing at the nine boys.
"Hmmm... I like... this one," Haseul ran up to Seungmin with her arms open, and the boy picked her up with a smile.
"Why him and not me?" Felix questioned her while making a sad face. The little girl blushed as she thought about the question.
"He gave me candy!" She exclaimed while hiding her face in Seungmin's hoodie. Of course that wasn't the only reason though. It turns out this was only the beginning, of the five-year-old's crush.
