The night it all changed

He's so perfect. everything about him. his hair his eyes his smile.

"hey Sky, you alright you seem kinda quiet?"Barry said snapping me out if my thoughts.

"huh? oh yeah I'm fine just a little tired of sitting here I guess. They have me working as the "forensic assistant" but so far I've been sitting in your lab all day and have had not a single thing to do." That was the truth. Last month Detective West said he needed a forensic assistant and since the I've done nothing but sit in Barry Allen's lab bored out if my mind.

"Well then, how about we head over to star labs and see the particle accelerated be turned on." Barry said holding up two tickets to the huge event.

"Uh YEA! I've been wanting to go all day, but I've been stuck here." I grabbed my coat and stood in the doorway.

"You coming Allen?" With that we ran out the door. we were gonna take a cab but decided to walk instead.

When we walked through the door the place was packed but I couldn't be more excited. I have been dreaming of this moment since Dr. Harrison Wells announced they were building the future of science. Okay... call me a nerd, geek dork whatever you want I don't care this kind of stuff happens to be fascinating to me.

Dr. Wells stepped up to the podium an began his speech. I missed most of it because I was to excited and distracted at the same time by the fact that Barry had his arm across my shoulders. No we aren't dating, I wish we were, but we aren't were just really close friends who both happen to be two adorkable nerds. all of a sudden I snapped out if my thoughts when I felt the absence of Barry's arm in my shoulders. I turned around and he was no longer there which is really odd because he hasn't stopped talking about this for months. I ran out of the building onto the streets when I caught a glimpse of what seemed to be Barry ahead of me, and I wanted to follow him but it started to rain and he went inside the police station. the wind picked up and I turned I'm the direction if star labs to see a bolt of electricity coming from the accelerator. Before I knew I was laying on the ground and everything went dark.
