I woke up in a fright, patting around the bed and blinking. A loud noise had awoke me and I panicked for a few seconds trying to work out what happened. My eyes fell on a photo frame across the room which lay on the floor - the clear culprit. I swallowed and turned on my lamp wishing I wasn't alone.

It was my own fault I was alone in fairness. I ruined things between me and Bobby and now I was awake at 5 in morning wishing he was beside me to tease me and then rub my back as I fell back asleep. I pushed back my hair and layback against my headboard, picking my phone up of the nightstand.

Not sure why, I wanted to check on Bobby but I had unfriended him on everything and blocked his number after I drunkenly phoned him and that ended up him arriving at the party to make sure 'I got home safely' which was sweet but backfired when my hands were in his hair and his lips on my neck. That was when I still lived in Glasgow just after we'd broken up though, I'd since moved down south to the Scottish boarders unwilling to leave my country cause of my mistakes.

Compromising with myself I googled his name and sighed to myself as the results loaded.

"Oh fuck me." I breathed out, my eyes scanning the headline.

Bobby Mackenzie seen out in Glasgow with influencer Zara Hayden

My thumb hovered over the headline, before I closed the tab and got out of bed. I lay my head back and tried to calm down. Had he moved on now? It had been 8 months which was fair enough but startled me as I'd only been with one person since. Lucas.

It had been a mistake, we'd both agreed it was the next morning.
I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower.
Getting with Lucas was stupid but we were out with Lottie and Gary at some club and it just happened, we kissed on the dance floor and next thing I knew he was inside of me while I grabbed his bedsheets. Bobby found out, Gary couldn't help himself and told him - the guilt I felt ate me alive. We'd broken up 3 months prior and both still mourned what happened, Lottie told me after that when Gary told him Bobby looked like a knife had been twisted in his gut.

Washing the Shampoo out of my hair, my mind traveled back to the villa. Most couples had broken up, firstly Lucas and Chelsea; followed by Hannah and Carl, Hope and Noah, then me and Bobby and shortly after Lottie and Gary.
Leaving Henrik and Blake, Jo and Ibrahim and Marisol and Graham still happily together.
Winning did nothing to stop me and Bobby falling out of love.

I dried myself off and put on my dressing gown, gliding through to my kitchen and fixing myself some breakfast. I plonked down in front of the TV fondly looking at Sriracha - the Cheese plant Bobby bought me.

I watched Netflix for a bit before my phone buzzed next to me, flinching and spotting Lotties name flash up. "Hello?" I asked and she sighed down the phone. "Iris I got good and bad news." She spoke and I frowned. "Lottie it's half 7 in morning what's wrong?" She hesitated, "There's gonna be a reunion, that's the bad news. The good news is it's Friday and Hope and Chelsea are going to Manchester for shopping can you come down? It's tomorrow?" I laughed. "I forgot yes the two year reunion with Laura." I said and Lottie hmmmed down the phone. "Yes I'll come down to Manchester tomorrow." I answered and she squealed. "Yes ok! I've got to go and phone Hope but I'll see you soon!" And she hung up. I put the phone down and rolled my eyes, mentally planning out my bags to pack.

I stepped out of the taxi and thanked the driver, spotting the familiar braids, pink ombré and blonde waves standing with their back to me.
"Apparently the love island girls are here or something?" I called and all three spun round. Their faces lit up and they dashed forward wrapping their arms around me. "Hey you!" Hope laughed and Chelsea hiccuped. "I missed you!" She fawned. I squeezed her arm, "Me too Bra." I replied and linked arms as we wandered into the shopping centre. We merited a few looks and dashed into one of the shops, pressuring each other to buy the clothes.

"So what's all this about the reunion?" Hope asked and Lottie raised a eyebrow, holding a racey black dress up against her. "Fit." I remarked and she beamed. "It's two weeks away, in London. Everyone who was officially in the villa will be there and yes we will have to face the boys in person. Also no need to buy a dress, wardrobe will be supplied." She spoke and stroked a furry navy jacket. Me and Chelsea exchanged glances, as she put a dress back on the rail. "Ugh I don't wanna see Lucas! He broke up with me and shagged my bestie. Not a fan of that - I made an angry cushion to get myself through it!" She bitterly said and I turned away hiding my embarrassed expression at her brining up mine and Lucas's hookup.

We purchased our clothes, discussing the reunion some more and joking around before sitting down for some lunch. I sipped my glass of wine, watching Lottie show Chelsea something on her phone. "So how's Noah?" I absently asked Hope. She curled her lip at me; looking off to the side. "We're on civil terms. It ended badly but we can speak now without one of us crying." I nodded giving her a sympathetic look. "I liked yous for each other." I replied and she laughed sadly. "So did I." She met my eyes and asked, "Now - Bobby?" I took a deep breath. "Not spoken for a fair few months now. He texted me last to ask how I was but I really can't even do that. Hurts too much." I spoke and she looked down. "You were the one who pushed for the breakup." She states and I agreed. "Yes but that's cause he was so different! He was out all the time and I felt so alone." I replied and she tapped her fingers on the table. "Well no point in dwelling on it." She said and I took a sip of wine.

Yeah. No point in telling her I felt like I'd just caught my breath after almost drowning and now I was gonna have to see him again.
