"Taehyung wait!! Please give me another chance!" Taehyung's boyfriend said as he was catching up to Taehyung. He was desperately trying to hold his hand but Tae would just push him away.

Taehyung finally gave in and faced him. "For the last time, I don't want to continue our relationship. You played me, twice! You promised you'd change. You promised me you'd stop. How did that go? We're back to where we were months ago. I hope you're happy now. Good bye."

Those were the last words he said before going home. He would be lying if he said he wasn't hurt, of course he was hurt. He just couldn't handle being hurt by the same person in the same way. Sigh...

Taehyung and Jungkook:

Third person pov

Weeks have passed since their heartbreaks. They struggled through the pain but decided to set themselves free. Teach themselves how to let go. But how?

Taehyung pov

Hmm, what's this? "A lantern festival that occurs once a year, let go of all of the negative emotions and let yourself be free."

"What a coincidence, this is just what I needed." he said as he smiled to himself. "May 21. Hmm, I have a week... This is great! I'll start packing."

I started to pack all of my clothes, snacks, and other necessities enough for a few days. When I finished, I started looking for a hotel or cabin I can stay in. Luckily I found one which had good quality and had all items I needed.

"I'm ready!"

Jeon Jungkook pov

I'm currently watching a cocky drama in my living room. I just feel at loss, I don't know what to do, I can't get my mind off of him. I stood up to grab a glass of water, just as I stood up, the doorbell rang.

I sighed to myself and made my way to the door. Once the door was opened, a small and cute mochi greeted me. "Hey Kookie! Nice to see you again. May I come in?"

"Sure sure, come in. I'm sorry my place is a bit messy right now." I said shyly cause empty gallons of ice cream and a couple of boxes from take outs were still laying around.

"It's okay, I understand anyways. I have something for you." Jimin said as he handed me a plane ticket.

"Huh? What's this for?" I said in confusion, I mean who wouldn't be confused.

"Take it as a gift from me Kook, I saw this trip online and it said it had a lantern festival. I remember you saying you really wanted to see lanterns so I thought I'd give you this." he said and smiled warmly.

"Oh my gosh! Thank you hyung~" I laughed and engulfed him in a big warm hug.

"Now you better start packing! Your flight will come up soon."

"Yes hyung! Thank you, really."

"No problem Kook. Anyways, I have to run, I still have errands. Take care if yourself okay? Make sure to clean up your house as well." he said before waving goodbye to me and leaving the room.

"Yes hyung!" i yelled hoping he would hear me.

The day of the flight...

"Bye Kookie! Make sure to be safe and enjoy okay??" Jimin said while hugging me.

"Of course hyung! Thank you so much again. You didn't have to give me a ride here though." i said showing my famous bunny smile.

"I had to, you idiot! If I didn't you'd probably miss your flight." He glared at me while I questioned him.

"Hyung we're still an hour and half early." I said while raising my eyebrows.

"Still." he said sternly and crossed his arms.

"Fine." I murmured a soft "sorry" before he pushed me towards the entrance.

"Bye Hyung!!" I yelled waving my arm like a little kid.

"Bye Kookie, stay safe!" he yelled back at me.

"Jeez, why do I feel like I'm off my child?"

Once I went inside, I felt a bit nervous because this was my first time travelling alone but thankfully Suga hyung gave me a lecture about the airport for some unkown reason.

Taehyung pov

I safely made it into the airport, I had plenty of time to spare before my flight so I decided to grab myself a snack. I was passing by some shops, the scent of cinnamon lured me towards a pastry shop. After getting a cinnamon roll and some coffee, I made my way through the waiting area and took a seat.

(Edit: I forgot Taehyung didn't like coffee 👁️👄👁️)

I put in my airpods and played a song called 'Never Not', it was a bit loud but I didn't mind, I wanted to block the noise somehow.

I proceeded to eat and listen to music but still paying attention to the time so I won't miss my flight.
