Their Bond

Around the world everything is quite silent. The snowy streets don't even make a sound. Meanwhile at Hogwarts, the halls are decorated with snow, beautiful white lights, a huge tree in the entrance, and mistletoe. The halls smell of pumpkin dishes, roasted turkey, desserts, and potatoes too. The four tables are all filled hungry students who cannot wait to get their hands on presents and food. The staff stay in front of the students in the room, (with even wine with their fine meals).

At the Gryffindor's table Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and a few of their friends are at the table with them on board too. When the bunch of friends was eating, Harry Potter decided he was bored and needed to roam the halls after the delicious dinner. The room smelt just as good as it tasted. During Christmas time at Hogwarts, there was always great food and decorations too.

After dinner, all the students were passed out, (dead asleep). Everyone except Harry Potter of course. Harry tiptoed toward the presents and quietly peeked. He found a odd wrapped present. He immediately torn it open to find a invisibility cloak inside.

"It doesn't say who it is from." whispered Harry. Harry was very confused by this since he has never seen a thing like this before. Harry Potter then put on the cloak. He couldn't even see his own body.
"My body's gone!" shouted Harry. He quickly checked to see if his roommate (Ron Weasley) has heard him. Harry only saw Ron still snoring like he had when he just fell asleep. Harry Potter put on the cloak and silently tiptoed out of his common room, and down the moving staircase.

Harry Potter crept down the halls and saw
an office labeled in bold:
"Minerva Mcgonagall"
He slowly opened the door. He saw Mcgonagall's eyes open very widely. Harry knew he had made an stupid decision. He slowly backed away from Professor Mcgonagall's office. "Hello?" Mcgonagall said. "Is anyone there?". Harry cringed as Mcgonagall said those words. Harry wanted to punch himself in the face. "Potter?". "Is that you creeping around the halls?". Harry threw off his cloak.

"Erm...." Harry said slowly. "Yes Professor". Mcgonagall's face was filled with a grin. "I knew it was you!" She said like she all along. "You're father had a cloak just like that!". Mcgonagall grabbed Harry's arm and signaled him to sit down near her desk. Harry did as he was "told" to. "Want tea Potter?" Mcgonagall asked Harry. "Sure Professor" Harry said. Mcgonagall got a full tray of tea and took some tea and handed it to Harry. He smiled and politely took the tea. He took a few sips and asked Mcgonagall a question. "How did you know it was me Professor?" Harry Potter asked. "Well Harry" Mcgonagall began. "He has an invisibility cloak also". "So I figured you got one as a present". "Know who it is from Potter?" Mcgonagall asked Harry, (who wasn't paying attention at the time). Harry spit out his tea and laughed very hard at this. "Potter!" Mcgonagall said now laughing. "Be very careful son!" She said.

Harry was laughing so hard, he made Mcgonagall wheeze. "Oh Potter, you goof!" she said. "James would've been so proud." Mcgonagall said. Harry stopped laughing and looked at his Professor with a gentle smile. "You had my father Professor?" Harry asked. "Oh yes!" Mcgonagall said pleased. "I remember James very clearly!". "Now its your first year at Hogwarts Harry Potter". Harry was
picturing his father James as a Hogwarts student. It brought a smile to his little face. "Harry off to bed now!" Mcgonagall said. "Put on your cloak and leave." She said. "You need rest son" .

Harry put on his cloak and closed the door behind him. Harry tiptoed up the moving staircase. He quickly said "Capital Draconis". He slowly put his cloak into the box it was already in. He crept into his bed, (Ron still snoring), and he fell asleep. He would then wake up in the morning with Ron dying to open presents.
