His defenseless, sleeping body, was lying right next to me, his peaceful face warmed my heart.
Hugging him really did calm me down.
I honestly expected it to make me even more nervous, but it helped, a lot.
He seemed to have gotten up before, but decided to stay here.
I slide my hand through his soft, silky hair.
Touching him, I couldn't help but smile.
It made my face, hands, body, everything warm.
I wanted to be able to touch him more.
But I didn't want to make him uncomfortable. That would be horrible.
He was fine when I embraced him, he seemed quite blissful actually.
'I guess I could try something when he wakes up. I just need to figure out what.'
"Kuroo?"
I look down at Kenma, who was rubbing his eyes.
He still seemed quite drowsy but stared at me with a confused expression.
His stare sure made me nervous, I think my heart stopped.
"Uh- Kenma -? Why are you staring at me...?"
"Why's your hand resting on my head?"
I glance back at my hand, which indeed, is still on top of Kenma's head, with my fingers through his hair.
"O-Oh. Um- You had something in your hair."
I had never stuttered before, so it felt like an unusual time to start.
Kenma rolls his eyes at me, and sits up.
"What time is it?"
He leans over me to reach his phone.
"Mind if I stay a bit? It's only 9 am."
"Sure."
Kenma stands up and walks over to my closet.
He opens it and starts going through my clothes.
"Kenma? What are you doing?"
He pulls some of my clothes out,
"I need clothes, that's okay, right?" He says, turning his head to look at me
"Oh- Uh- Yeah! Of course!"
He walks into the bathroom, and closes the door.
I look back down at the spot Kenma was sitting in.
It was warm.
I lay down, and rest my head there.
Stuffing my face in a pillow, I feel my face become hot with blush.
"Dammit Kenma..." I mutter to myself.
'Why does he have to be so cute?'
His dull saffron eyes, His two-tone hair, His frail body. I loved everything about him.
My heart skipped a beat every time I saw him.
"Aah..." I sigh.
"Kuro...?" A familiar voice mutters.
I immediately sit up, to see Kenma standing in front of me.
"Yeah? What is it Kenm-" I say, before seeing his wrist.
His wrist was slightly bruised, and he was holding it with his other hand.
"What happened to your wrist?" I yell, with obvious worry in my voice.
"Calm down, Kuro." He sighs, "I just hit it on the sink."
He tells me to calm down, but I can't.
A wave of nervousness rushes over me.
I don't want to upset him. I don't want him to stay hurt.
In a moment of panic, I stand up and grab Kenma, and pull him into my embrace.
I can feel his warm breath on my clothing.
"K-Kuroo...?" He mutters.
"Shh..." I whisper, putting my hand on the back of his head.
I hear him open his mouth to say, but nothing comes out.
He hugs me back, burying his face in my chest.
I go red.
I just want to stay like this.
I don't want him to leave my arms.
I want to stay with him forever.
I want to be with him forever.
I love having him.
I love being with him.
I love him.
