renjun soon finds out about na jaemin, as every bulletin board they stop at, he sees the boy's name. seeing the times his radio show hairs for the campus radio. 

as yukhei drove them to their shared apartment, he found the boy on instagram and started listening to the re-uploaded version of the show. 

he felt stress drip off his shoulders as he heard the boy talk. his voice was soft and silky. it was like honey to his ears. 

he stepped out of the car and walked up the steps to their apartment. he saw mark laying on the couch with papers laid out in front of him. 

renjun walked slowly to his bedroom, listening to the radio show. he listened to a new one as it ended and continued. 

his mind wandered from the words they spoke, and just paid attention to how they sounded. he didn't take any information in while listening, the words entering one ear leaving through the other.

renjun mind took his to past memories. the reason he started school late was that he was in a psychiatric hospital, he was a long term resident there. he'd been there for 6 months after the 6th month anniversary of donghyuck's death came around. 

he picked up an awful habit of harming himself, and when his mother found him in his bath tube, water red wrists open. 

she had pulled him out, found his pulse was still present before she pulled him into the car. driving him to the emergency room. he was rushed in, as it was a slow day. and after seeing the number of cuts and scares they recommended him to be placed in a psych hospital.

he had made a friend in the hospital also having a few near-death experiences as other patients lost it. his friend yangyang got out sooner than him, and then renjun found a new friend named jungwoo, he was slightly older than him but the older's company was comforting.

then after those 6 months, a year and a half passed, when renjun relapsed. he fell into the hole again, this time, not only cutting but burning altogether. his arms and thighs covered in scares.

he lost apatite of everything and only found peace when he only had water and maybe a few carrots in his system. 

he spent a longer time in the hospital that time around. as he would try so so hard to find sharp objects or something to melt him down. he had a hard time eating but once they started taking away his sketch paper and crayons, he would finish most of his meals. 

he looked at his phone. he had met a lot of friends in the second period. like his friend sungwoo, or ten, or yeri, or chanyeol, or jacob, or xukun, or linkai, or or.

the voice echoing in his ears came back into focus as it let out a loud laugh. renjun smiled as he laid back in his bed looking up at the ceiling listening to the radio hosts talk

"and thanks all for tonight, toon in again tomorrow night at 10 and listen to our show till midnight, as we help keep your insomnia at its peak, this has been, night night dream, with your host jeno and jaemin, along with their guests, johnny and jaehyun."the voice said on the last episode from the night before.

a knock on his door interrupted him,"dinners done,"yukhei said sticking his head in and out of the door quickly. 

renjun got up and walked out of his room to enjoy his dinner, as time would move faster and he would be able to listen to that nights episode of night night dream.
