story information —
PLOT Noelle, or as she preferred: Noah, did not match her last name. Actually, she considered herself the complete and utter opposite.
What else do you expect from someone who spends her day talking to dead people?
There's no good reason as to why she can do it—just that she does and no one believes her. As a child she tries to get her parents to see what she sees, to at least believe her, but all the earned her was years of therapy and her parents assuming she was going insane.
So here she was, sophomore year, a good ten years of therapy under her belt and a new school — as, much to her parent's delight, she got into the smart kid's school. Whatever.
Noelle was prepared to just disappear into the background like she doesn't exist, and to try and find a friendly dead person to talk with.
That all changes when she meets Peter Parker, and notices that he's well... not who he says he is.
So, obviously, she just has to figure out who he is.

• typically her abilities freak her out, but sometimes it comes in handy. esp because the dead knows things the living don't 👀
• she is kinda hard to her along with, especially because she's spent her life being labeled as a freak.
