4 days later, Jenna was thinking about Julien. It was getting close to their 7 year anniversary. She felt like she genuinely fell more and more in love with him every single day, if that was even possible. He was her everything. Part of her loved how he would tease and annoy her while they filmed. It was part of their dynamic. Years ago, Jenna and Julien had both been against the idea of marriage. Jenna never saw herself being a typical wife, and she didn't think a wedding ring would change anything. But, recently she felt like they should just say screw it. If they could get through a global pandemic, and everything they'd been through, they could get through anything. Though she still thought marriage wasn't necessary, she wanted to be able to say that she and Julien were married. And they were getting old, so they might as well. They were basically already married anyway. They always had been. She didn't want a big ceremony or anything, she just wanted to marry him. She brought it up during lunch. She and Julien had Postmated some VeggieGrill before Julien left for the gym. Jenna wasn't going with him that day, because she was feeling a little sick in the morning. That had mostly subsided, but she thought she should stay home just in case. "Julie?" Jenna got him attention, setting down her fork. He looked up. Jenna panicked a little, not really sure how to bring it up. She just went with her gut. "I've been thinking a lot. I know it goes against what I used to say but...what would you think about getting married someday? I mean we're getting older, and we're already about as married as it gets, so we might as well..." Jenna trailed off, wondering if she had made a mistake. She couldn't read what Julien was thinking. Slowly, a smile spread across Julien's face from ear to ear. "I was thinking about that too, a few weeks ago. You know I love you more than anything in the world, and while I think we can both agree that we don't need a wedding to prove our love, I do want to marry you one day." Julien agreed. Jenna was filled with giddiness. She hugged him. When they pulled apart she said, "Maybe there'll even be a little Julen running around one day." Julien laughed, and kissed her. "I would love that. But a little Jenna would be amazing, too!" he said, grabbing his keys. "I got to go babe, see you in a few hours!" he walked towards the door. "Okay Julie, love you." she called after him. "Love you more!" he said, shutting the door so she couldn't argue. Jenna was filled with those old butterflies. She couldn't stop smiling at the thought of her and Julien getting married. She felt almost like she didn't want to wait any longer. But, she felt a little guilty because...she was hiding something from him. Something big.
