Jenna met with Rome (who was visiting for three weeks), Shannon, and the Debby machine to go dress shopping. They would've brought Gabs, but she was coming later. They didn't have to worry about with bridesmaids, since they decided not to do any. It just added too much stress. "Are you Jenna?" a woman asked Shannon when they walked in. "Oh no, this is Jenna!" Shannon laughed. The woman smiled, laughing a little herself. She shook Jenna's hand. "Nice to meet you Jenna. And do you have with you today?" the woman asked. "Well, this is my mom, Debby, and my lady friends, Rome and Shannon." Jenna introduced them. "Wonderful! Well I'm Katie, and I'll be your consultant. So, tell me a little bit about your wedding!" the woman said. "So, I'm getting married in about two weeks, pretty short notice, to my fiance, Julien. We've been together for over seven years." Jenna explained. "Great, and what's your venue like?" the woman asked. "We're getting married in Big Bear." Jenna said. "Alright, sounds great. What kind of dresses are you looking for?" the woman made sure to get every detail. "I have a ballgown in mind, but not the super poofy kind. Just kind of flowy. And something maybe a little revealing." Jenna said, quickly remembering her mom was right there. "Alright, we'll get you all seated, and I'll go pull some dresses!" the woman said, bringing them to an area, with a line of white chairs, with a little elevated perch in front of them, for the bride to stand on. There was also a mirror behind the perch for the bride to look at the dress, too. Everyone got seated, and Jenna put on the robe that the boutique provided, and waited in her dressing room. She waited for a few minutes, scrolling through Twitter. Finally, Katie came back with four dresses. "Alright Jenna, here are four to start with! Remember, if you don't like something, you don't have to show them, and if you don't like any of the dresses, you don't have to try it on. Sound good?" Katie explained. "Yep!" Jenna said. Katie showed Jenna the dresses. One was a blush mermaid gown, with an illusion neckline. One was an ivory lacy strapless mermaid. One was a stunning ballgown with long sleeves. The last one was a beautiful ballgown, with a flowy skirt, and flower detailings all over it. It also had a sheer top. "Uh, I can't to the mermaid..." Jenna said, apologetically. "Okay, that's fine! Why's that?" Katie said, as she grabbed them off the rack. Jenna debated whether or not to tell her. Well it wasn't like Katie would tell anyone. Jenna lowered her voice to a whisper. "Um...You can't tell them, but I'm actually pregnant. They don't know yet, so I don't want my little bump showing during the wedding!" Jenna explained. "Oooh, congrats! Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. Do you want to try on the other two?" Katie asked. Jenna said yes, and got up to put on the first one, the one with the sleeves. Katie buttoned it up, and told Jenna to open her eyes. "What do you think?" she asked. "Hmm...it's gorgeous, but I'm not sure if it's quite the one. I'll show them and see what they think." Jenna suggested. Katie picked up her train, and they walked out. Jenna's entourage gasped. "What do you guys think of this one?" Jenna asked. Everyone was smiling. Good sign. First Rome spoke. "Well, first of all, you look gorgeous. I love those sleeves!" Next, Shannon. "Oh my god, you look freakin stunning in that, but I'm not sure it feels very Jenna to me. I really do like it though." Lastly, Debby. "Well, no surprise, you look beautiful. But it's not your dress. I can tell." Debby stated. Jenna was taken back a little, but eventually nodded. She felt it too, it wasn't her dress. "Yeah, I think I agree, it's not quite me. Let's try the next one." Jenna said. They went back to the dress room, and Jenna closed her eyes and Katie buttoned her up in the beautiful low cut ballgown with the flowy skirt (shown up top). "Okay, open!" Katie announced. Jenna opened her eyes. The second she saw the dress, her eyes filled with tears. She loved it. "I..I...Oh my god-" Jenna said, her voice breaking a little. "I love it!" Jenna tried not to break down crying. Ugh. Pregnancy hormones. When Katie walked Jenna out, Jenna immediately saw her mom get emotional. Well, everyone did. Jenna couldn't stop smiling. "Well...what do you guys think?" Jenna asked, holding back her tears. The air was filled with over lapping You look beautiful, It's so you, It's stunning, I love it, I think it the one's. Jenna knew they were right. This was her dress. She felt it deep inside her. She looked at it again the mirror. "I...I think this is the one!" Jenna announced. Everyone cheered, and came up to hug her. Jenna couldn't be more elated.
