Special thanks to Crazy_Vulpix55 for requesting this! I tried a using a new POV, Narrator POV! It's not always there, but it is sometimes. I hope you guys enjoy it! Let me know which one you prefer! Anyways, I hope it's okay that the Vulpix isn't the main plot of the story, but this was just too cute to pass up! Also, I might turn this into a book. Let me know if you'd be interested in that! Anyways, this is way too long to make it a one-shot, so it's a two-shot. I hope that's okay!

Mallow POV

"Mallow! Wake up!"

I jumped at my dad's persistent shaking. "Huh? What?" I asked. I looked at the clock. "Oh no! I'm going to be late! Thanks, dad!" I thanked leaping out of bed. I guided him out of my room before getting ready. I grabbed a snack and ran out of the house. "Bye, dad! See you later!" I hope I'm not late! As I arrived, it looked like I was on time! Yay! I slid off my bag and went to talk to Lillie. "Alola Lillie! What'ya reading?" I asked her.

"Oh! Alola Mallow! I'm just reading about Pokémon contests, they seem interesting!" She replied.

"Cool! I love Serena, she's so cool! She almost became Kalos Queen, y'know?!" I told her, fangirling a bit. Oops! But she's just so awesome! Anyways, I was going to continue, before Professor Kukui walked in, cutting me short. I ran to my spot and sat down. "Alola Class!" He greeted. "Alola Professor Kukui!" We greeted back. "So class, I was thinking of taking a field trip to another region for a few weeks. Any ideas?" He asked. Oh, I had just the place in mind. "Professor Kukui!" I stood up. "I suggest the Hoenn region!" Ash looked bored again now. I swear, he's been to everywhere! "Well, nice suggestion, but why?" He asked. "W-Well, there's cool Pokémon!" I added. "Most of all, my favourite Pokémon Performer is there, and the Ribbon Cup performance is only a week away!" He thought about it for a few minutes. "Sounds good! Can we a performance she's done before?" He asked.

"Sure! Sophocles can I borrow your laptop?" I requested.

"Sure! I'll connect it to the screen." He connected it and handed it to me."

"Thanks! I'll pull up a video." I searched. "Here, this is from when she was performing in Kalos."

"Hey, that's Serena!" Ash exclaimed.

"Yeah, you heard of her?" I asked.

"Kinda. We travelled together when I was in Kalos!" He corrected.

"Y-You WHAT?!" I shrieked. "Why didn't you tell me?!"

"Sorry, I didn't think it was that big of a deal..." Ash mumbled. 

"Well? She's awesome isn't she?" I asked everyone.

They all agreed.

"Speaking of, I haven't spoken to them in a while! I should call Clemont and Bonnie, maybe they'll know where I can call her!" Ash recalled. "Hey, let's go and call them!"

We all agreed and went to call his friends.

Narrator POV

Ash ran to Pokémon Centre with his friends on his heels. They made it to the Pokémon Center and dialled Clemont's gym ID (I made it up - every gym has a phone thingy they use, with its unique ID to call it, since you can't have every gym in the world ever listed!)
