Game Of Thorns

Seven

(A/N- Please listen to the music while reading!)

"Hey guys", Suga stopped in the middle of our walk, "Do you remember our Baepsae dance practice?" he burst into laughter. "Where you twerked? " Jungkook joined him, "But Danger was better you know? Especially the ending". We couldn't hold back our tears, this time it was tears of joy. We three sat down for sometime, our faces were covered with marks, hands had scratches. But even in this time of extreme grief we found a way to cheer us up.

"And do you remember that water slide? In that Run episode?", I said enthusiastically, "The way you slid down Suga. I guess that was the funniest thing I ever saw in my life". We continued to chat and laugh for sometime. That blank space changed or you can rather say transformed into a splendid paradise. An unending blue sky above us, white fully clouds floating with the wind, green trees with colourful fruits hanging from it, the lushful grass we sat upon, the birds chirped, the sweet scent of the flowers bedazzled me. 

"I love you all", I said in a whisper, "I...I...really" I stuttered and got cut off by Suga's hug. He caressed my head, my grip on his shirt tightened, "I know brother". "Can I join too?" Jungkook flashed his bunny smile, and scratched his hair. I motioned him to join. "I have something to tell you. Actually...It's bit tough but I really want you both to know this", he lowered his head and buried his face in his palms. "What's the matter Kook?" Suga asked in a gentle tone.

"I have a capability to peek through the curtain", he started, "It's like peeking into the future". Our eyes widened, we knew he had specialities in many fields but this was something unusual. "What the heck?" I blurted out. "I knew you both won't believe me", he bit his lower lip, "But it's true". "Jungkook, we do believe you but this thing is unusual", Suga said in a concerned voice, "Did you see anything? If you did then what did you see?"...

"I...I... When I held that ball, I had a glimpse of what could happen in the future, if we went inside this building. We could change it but instead of that we started up with this game. I saw everyone's dead faces", he said making our eyes bulge out of our eye sockets. "Who's next? Who's next Kook?" Suga cupped his cheeks and stared deep into his eyes. "I don't remember. I remember the sequence as each one is dying. It's of no use" he sighed in grief. 

"It's okay. I am hungry anyways" he stood up and walked towards a tree, "These fruits are quite interesting. Am I  not correct Joon?" Suga plucked one. As soon as he took a bite he fell on the ground. We rushed towards him, but we already lost him. "Okay so only two players left interesting", the voice spoke up. "But this wasn't a game. How come this happened to him?" Jungkook asked him. "My boy, this was the next level. Temptation...", the voice slowly disappeared. 

Suga was poisoned to death. The beautiful scenery turned into the blank space again. "Jungkook, please don't cry", I rubbed his tears, "Life is filled with thorns. It's beautiful, just like the moment we three were enjoying together but it has laid thorns for each and every person. We are walking on thorns. We have to walk on the thorns to live. It's like an ocean, vast, wide but it also has sharks in it. We have to give our level best to keep on living", I said as I laid my hands on his shoulder. After taking a last look at him, we continued our journey.
