Iris POV
Its good to be back, it's been 2 weeks since i'm back and I finally feel like things are back to normal.
8:00am I feel Barry's arm wrapped around me while spooning. "Good morning, beautiful" he says as he kisses my shoulder moving onto my neck. "Good morning, Handsome" I say with a small laugh. I turn around and face him, "How did you sleep" I asks with a smirk on my face, "Well I barely could with you all over me last night" he said back. "Don't act like you didn't want your Wife last night, you couldn't get enough of me" We both laugh. "I mean I guess" He says playfully rolling my eyes at him. "What do you wanna do today since metas are laying low lately" I ask, "I could think of a few things" He says with a smirk and starts kissing my neck. A small smile forms on my lips, "Now who's all over who now hm?" I say playfully. He lightly laughs and moves from my neck to my lips and we start kissing, his hand moves from my neck to my thigh and then our moment gets interrupted by Barry's phone ringing. We stop and he sighs, he reaches over to his phone, "This better be good Ralph" He says, Of course it's Ralph. "That was today I completely forgot, Yeah i'll let you know man, Bye" He hangs up the phone. "What he want?" I ask, "He reminded me that today is CCPD's 50th year anniversary and that there having a gala." "Oh that's today? I completely forgot, You don't wanna go?" I ask with a confused look on my face. "Yeah but everyone who ever worked for CCPD is going" "Yeah so?" I ask, "My ex Patty Spivot is going to be there and i don't know i just don't want it to be awkward you know?" "Oh" I felt a tad bit of jealousy at the mention of her name knowing she had been with MY man. "Well if you do end up wanting to go i'd be honored to be your date" I say with a smile on my face. "Babe of course your gonna be my date, Plus i'd be able to show off my sexy wife to everybody" He says with a smirk going in for a kiss, but i stop him before his lips reach mine. He pouts, "What?" he asks. "Did you and Patty ever.. You know do it?" I ask curiously, At first he looks confused and then he laughs. "Is this a trick or?" He says while laughing, "Bartholomew I am serious, I'm curious if you ever took it that level with her?" I say sternly but playfully. "Oh boy, Yes Iris we did have sex, We were in a relationship and We were both adults" My face turns into a look of shock with a pinch of jealousy. "Wow I can't believe you Bartholomew" I say, "Bartholomew? Iris don't get mad at me that's like me asking you did you do anything with Eddie?" He asks curiously. "Yes" I say back trying to get back at him. "I can't be mad at you for that, Does it bother me knowing another man was all over my wife? Yes but your all mine now and only mine so it's okay." He says smirking and starts kissing me.
We end up staying in bed making love, We showered and made love up until about 2 o'clockish.
