To Chan, this was a normal day. Well, maybe a bit more than that. It was a day he actually looked forward to.
They all agreed on doing a movie evening at Felix', Seungmin's, Woojin's and Jeongin's dorm. Of course, they saw each other at least twice every week but there was always something special in gathering altogether and doing something non-work related. Even when it was something as simple as watching movies.
Chan loved spending time with all of them together. Well, almost all of them. Jisung had different plans for the evening. That might have been a reason why Chan made sure to keep everyone out of their apartment as well but now as he sat squeezed between all of his friends on their way too small couch he just smiled when they asked about Jisung's whereabouts. Who was he to tell?
Besides, Chan found it way more interesting that Jeongin had asked Hyunjin to join them, anyways. Of course, Jeongin was an adult and he lived his own life but he also was the Maknae of their group and seeing him making such a bold move like that was not really 'smallest child behavior'. But Chan had to let all of them grow up eventually, didn't he?
To Hyunjin, this was the day that his best friend had been stressing out over the last 48 hours and Hyunjin became happier the nearer their date got because he couldn't stand Minho's mood swings and his 'Omg I'm so stupid', 'Wait nvm this is gonna be the best date ever' texts anymore.
Hyunjin decided to shut off his phone completely, once they'd actually meet up because he did not want to get a panicked phone call from Minho telling him that everything went south. Or not have a notification from him at all meaning that everything goes well, maybe even too well.
But thanks to a copper-haired, young male he didn't have to do that. Instead, he now sat on the floor in said boy's dorm. With six other guys, back against the couch that four of them shared, actually too small for their bodies, his shoulder touching the smaller boy's and hands busy with popcorn that sat in a bowl in his lap.
Hyunjin wasn't actually nervous about anything he was rather surprised. Jeongin just called him and asked him to hang out with all of his friends. Something quite bold for someone who hid behind one of his group members the first time that they spoke. But now he smiled at him, face illuminated by the movie that was playing in front of them, discussions conversations and bickering all around them because apparently in this house you comment and discuss everything while watching something and as their hands touched through the popcorn, soft and nonchalant, Hyunjin found himself smiling back at the younger.
To Minho, this was the day that he'd prove that he can pull off the best date ever.
If one were to ask Hyunjin, he'd tell you that Minho had been freaking out this whole time, but that was not true.
If anything, it was half-true at best. This was a stupid idea that probably didn't have a future, yes. But this was also the opportunity for Minho to just forget everything for a second and have a nice evening.
And if this was their first and only date, it might also be their best date. Minho was getting ready as he thought of that and it made him stop buttoning up his shirt. He chewed on his lips. During the last few hours he tried not to think about what would happen afterward, what he would tell Jisung.
"Sorry, but we can't go on another date because I put you in immense danger by going out with you but I can't exactly tell you why?", yeah, not happening.
But still, he had to say something.
Minho looked at his reflection in the mirror, sighed, forced himself to smile and left his bathroom.
To Jisung, this was the day he had been looking forward to with a lot of different emotions. Of course, he was excited, it had been quite a while since his last proper date, but at the same time, going on a date seemed like a big step to him.
It felt like their whole spotting-the-other-in-random-places-and-making-out-game had just become less of a game and more of something planned and predictable. Jisung couldn't know just how unpredictable Lee Know actually was.
Besides, how well did he even know Lee Know? He'd probably find out more about him today, he'd get to know him. This sparked up the fuzzy feeling in Jisung's stomach. A feeling he was feeling quite often in the last time.
Jisung just wished he'd have a little more stuff to work with. To Jisung's question where Lee Know would take him so he'd know what he'd have to wear, the only answer he got was "Wear something fancy. Nothing too fancy though. No armory or weapons regarded.", which basically left him with nothing.
Jisung almost settled for a black button-up with a blazer on top which was tied together by a belt around his waist but as he looked at himself in the mirror he quickly shrugged everything off again.
This was a date, not a wedding or a very official funeral. Also, Lee Know told him not to wear anything too fancy (he also paired that with saying he doesn't have to wear armory, but still).
In the end, he stuck with the black trousers and the black button-up but put another greyish shirt over it. It was cut in a crop top way but oversized with the black belt around his waist, Jisung appeared slimmer and taller.
He took one last look in the mirror and thought "fuck it" before he stepped out of his empty apartment and headed to the place to which Lee Know had just sent him the coordinates.
----
I really liked that look on Jisung so yeah here we go.
Also, I was looking up Jisung outfits on music shows and damn, even though I've seen like almost all of these outfits over and over again I still wonder how a human can be this beautiful every time. Your favorite Jisung look?
I swear the date will be in the next chapter lmao.
Then - as always - take care and I'm out.
