Mox POV:
It has been a couple of weeks since I show up in this human world. And I don't appreciate any faces that I have seen on my way. My hands are itching to destroy them, not wanting to see them again in my fucking life. But it's my bad that I can't use my powers against them.
I feel exhausted, but I continue making my way to my goal to find that immortal's generation. However, as I try, my legs are automatically stopped, not having the strength to continue walking.
I grit my teeth and look around to find a place for me to take some rest. I spot a park and go inside, sitting on a bench with my mind full of thoughts. I need to find my victim's generation, but how?
My eyes land on a four-year kid and scan whether she is related to that immortal generation. She's not his generation, so I let my eyes wander to another kid to know his identity. He's also not that eternal generation.
I let out a frustrated sigh as I repeat the process with each person whom I have found. I can't scan each person to know their generation because it is difficult, so I need to find another way. It should be easy and worth to this demon's level!
I wait until the sky gets darkened and play hide and seek with the security when he comes around to check the park whether people have left. I find the middle of the park then and sit on it, calling a snake. Not some silly snake; it should have enormous venom that I can't even take it.
A snake appears in front of me, and it crawls on the ground. I smirk and grab it with the back of its neck, letting my tongue out to suck the venom from its body with my power. My body changes to blue because of the poison I have taken in. I throw the lifeless snake away once its usage is over.
I close my eyes and remember the memories of my demon world, letting all the anger out. I tilt my head up and open my eyes, looking over the sky before spraying the venom. I open my arms and make the toxin reach the sky, pouring it down as rain. The rain washes my body and changes it to its original color.
The rain pours only on me and changes my eye color from blue to green as well. My eyes sparkle when the morning star Venus' light falls on my head. I smirk and look over at Venus, feeling proud to find a way to reach my goal.
I follow Venus in search of the immortal generation. No one can escape from me, not even myself. It's no problem that I can't use my power against humans, but I have other skills to use, and I know how to use them for my thing.
Seth POV:
I feel an immense heat fill my body and flow into each of my cells individually, bringing each one to boiling. Some song occurs in the air and gets into my mind, but I'm not able to make out much but hearing, "De-Demon... Jo... Mx.."
With that, every fiber of my being vibrated faster and faster. I know it is dangerous, but it is irresistible. Sure enough, the vibration grows so strong that soon the heat engulfs each of my cells in flames.
Slowly, my body melts into a rainbow of candle wax drippings, leaving me in a cloud of pure energy. Suddenly, some black spirit joins in me and makes me burst forth and float far above the earth.
I wake up from sleep and take a deep breath, eyes heavy with the ache of reality. I tuck my hair behind my ear and lean back against the headboard to calm myself until something catches my eye.
Something has shifted in the reflection of the glass, so I swift my head to know what it is, but nothing comes into my view. I throw the blanket away and walk over to the window, opening it to see outside if anyone is there.
When no one has found it in my eyes, I think maybe that is my imagination. I return to the bed and lay on it, trying to go back to sleep, but I can't. After a few minutes, I get up from the bed frustrated and leave the room.
I go to the living room and switch on the television, reducing its volume, not wanting to wake up my aunt. I lay on the couch and watch some series until sleep overtakes my body once again.
I wake up after a few hours when I feel someone shaking my shoulder. "Seth." I open my eyes slowly when I hear my aunt's voice is calling me. I turn to my side and see her looking at me with a mixed expression of concern and confusion.
I get up and give her a space to sit beside me. She tucks a strand of hair behind my ear before cupping my face. "Why are you sleeping here?"
"Again, some fucking weird dream got me up from sleep!" I whine and lean my head on her shoulder. Yeah... I had some fucking weird dreams over the past week, and I didn't know what it tried to tell me.
"What dream you had this time?" She asks, stroking my hair.
"Oh, I don't know." I struggle to find the right words to tell her. "Like I was on fire. Literally on fucking fire. And it was burning my body away but leaving behind energy. I remembered that suddenly some black energy joined and burned my body, exploding it into the universe. I have no idea why. Pretty fucking weird, right?"
"No." She says and makes me confused. She then stands up from the couch and looks down at me. "Your dreams might be different, but they all conveyed the same meaning. Some danger is coming to you!" She kneels and cups my cheeks, caressing them gently. "Honey, you should be careful!"
"I understand." I nod and place my hands on hers. I give her a small smile and try to comfort her, not wanting her to worry about me. She is the only one that I have for me now, so I want to keep her happy as always.
