The start

3rd person

Izuku Midoriya, a fair skinned; green haired and eyed boy, was skipping down the street with his mum, Inko Midoriya an equally and fair skinned; green haired woman, following close behind.

Today was little Izuku's 4th birthday and he was celebrating with his best (And only) friend, Katsuki Bakugo.

When the 2 best friends we're together, they were inseparable. The loud blond (Bakugo) and the adorable broccoli (Midoriya) always had each other's backs. When they had play dates, Bakugo would always shove Izuku off for about, the first 5 minutes. Then suddenly they would be rolling down hills or just sitting and talking under a tree.

When they had first become friends, there parents were over joyed! Both of the mums had been friends since Middle school (Secondary School) so Mitsuki and Inko had always had a close "sister relationship". The 2 mothers would gladly arrange play dates (or hang outs as Katsuki insisted) for the 2 boys, while the adults would chat.

For Izuku birthday he had decided to have a birthday party at the Bakugo household. Mitsuki agreed that it would be the best course of action because she had work quite early in the morning while Inko didn't. Inko and Izuku were walking down the street, when Inko remembered something.

She had forgotten Izuku birthday present in the shop.

So, as Izuku was skipping down the street, his mother called him back for a few seconds.

"Izuku, I know your exited to celebrate your birthday but we really need to go to the shop for 10 mins, recovery girl is coming to pick up her new batch of gummy's." Inko made up to her overly exited son.

Izuku just smiled at her, nodded his head and followed his mum into the shop.

"The shop" was actually called "Annwn" after a magical world in old western mythology. The shop was a subtle shade of periwinkle, with its cream window frames and old Victorian window panels. The roof was slightly mossy, rickety and uneven but that added to the already witchy feel to the place. Healing crystals hung in each window, salt lined the window sills and a golden dream catcher hung above the door. Most of the windows had sacred images stained into them: A Tengus, A kitsune as well as some important Japanese gods were stained on the windows. A big oak sign hung on the side of the building saying: "ANNWN, catering to all your needs since 439BC"

(Yes, sign was inspired by Olivanders in Harry Potter)

It was a strange little sight to see in the middle of Musutafu, Japan. But that was just another thing that made the shop special.

The shop itself was actually owned by Inko herself. She was the only worker there, due to her quirk only being able to create the products she sells.

You maybe asking your self:
"What does Inko sell in her shop?"

Well the answer to that question is...
ANYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF!!!
(But she mostly specialises in healing crystals with protective enchantments and rings.)

You see, Inko and (Hopefully) her son Izuku both have a very rare quirks. They (Hopefully) both have a quirk called world library. Which allows the wielder to summon any type of book (magical or not) and store that information like files in there brains.

Even though inko specialises in protection and healing crystals, she also creates more advanced versions those gummy's that the rescue hero, recovery girl, uses to boost her patients energy for healing. These gummy's are for after emergency healing.

As the mother and son duo walk into the shop, Inko's stomach stated to turn. She suddenly got the feeling she needed to keep an eye out and look behind her. She slowly started to look over her shoulder, but there was nothing there. Breathing a quick sigh of relief that their was nothing to harm her or her son, she brushed it off, but still remembered to keep an ear out for anything strange or out if the ordinary.

She turned the key to get into the shop, and was rushed with the intoxicating smell of cinnamon rolls, with a slight hint of a sea breeze rushing into her nose.

Another special thing about Annwn is that it smells like the thing you love the most. For example; say you loved the smell of freshly cut grass in the morning or freshly washed washing, it would smell exactly like that.

She warily walked closer into the shop (The bell started her slightly) Izuku walking behind her. She reached the polished wood counter, before remembering that she left the present in her necklace because she knew she would forget it. She facepalmed.

"Now we're gonna be late for Izuku birthday, well done Inko"  She scolded herself.

Just then a load crash of glass shattering was heard from the front of the store.

Inko quickly scooped up izuku in her arms and ran the back of the shop.

"Izuku I want you to get as far away from here and go straight to aunt Mitsuki's house, do you understand?" Inko said as more smashing and banging started in the front of the shop.

Izumi noses his head and was just about to go before his mother stopped him again.

She placed a necklace around his neck, kissed his head and said;

"Izuku I need you to take care of yourself for me. Just know that I love you very much and that even if I'm not with you I still love you. If you see recovery girl please give her her order from inside the necklace. Just rub it and it should apeare."

And with that, she gave him one last kiss and let her son go for the last time...
