Butterfly Hearts

Our hearts are butterflies.
Flapping freely above clear sweet scented meadows,
Some, however, manage to get stuck in swamps,
But that never stops them from finding their way back to the sunshine.
There's no escaping it.

Our hearts are butterflies so,
Because of how fragile they are,
They can easily be stuck in nets of evil,
They can be killed so easily,
Yet, they are happy.

Our hearts our butterflies so,
With how beautiful they can be,
Some shine a brilliant blue,
Others honey yellow,
A dark white,
Light white,
Vibrant grass green,
Mellow Brown,
And many other varieties,
They might look exactly the same,
Yet they are unique.

Our hearts are butterflies so,
Because of how love can capture us blind.
How love can make a butterfly,
Flutter,
And change in ways only love can master,
For the better,
Or for the worst,
But now it's your turn,
For I have caught you,
In my net,
Of love.
