Pragya’s POV
“Don’t try to escape from me. I’ve already caged you in a place (his heart) where nobody can enter or rescue you. And don’t dare allow anyone into your life. If it happens, you’ll regret it. I’ll kill the person who tries to come into your life… except Purab. Keep this in your mind…”
His whisper burned against my ear before he walked away, leaving me standing there, a mess of confusion, fear, and shock.
I couldn’t move for a few seconds. His words kept echoing in my head like a bad dream. Trapped? Did he seriously mean that? What about my life? My choices? I’d rather jump into the ocean right now than live like a puppet under his control!
Why the hell does he always show up just to scare me?! I stood there like a statue until my brain slowly rebooted. Finally, I dragged myself back to the hostel, my mind still spinning like a broken fan.
