When I woke up, I saw that I missed four missed calls from Kat and fifteen missed calls from an unknown caller. I figured it was Tyler. So, instead of calling Tyler back, I called Kat. When she picked up she yelled into the phone "WHERE ARE YOU?!" She startled me and I fell off my bed. She must have heard me fall off my bed because she said: "oh, are you ok?" I told her I was fine and that I slept in because we didn't have school. She replied with a long sigh "..." and then said "You can't waste your summer break in bed. It's time to go out and DO things!! Also, Tyler said he tried calling you." "Are you with him!?" I asked quickly.
She replied with a guilty "Maybe..." Where are you guys and what are you doing?" I asked.
She said, "We have been waiting all morning for you at the Movie theater!"
I knew he had planned something. I quickly got ready and ran out of the house. When I arrived at the movie theater, I walked in and saw Tyler there waiting. I asked him where Kat was.
He smirked and said, "She got bored of waiting and left."
I said "yeah, right... She wouldn't do that."
Tyler then said, "And lemme guess, she wouldn't make a bet either?"
I rolled my eyes and said, "No, but.."
"Exactly" Tyler replied. I turned around to leave but he grabbed my arm
"Why leave when you're already here?" He asked. I told him I had better things I could be doing.
He rolled his eyes and said, " It's one movie."
I rolled my eyes and thought, it wasn't like I was going to fall for him. I said "Fine" and we went in.
After the movie, I used the excuse "I need to use the restroom."
He said, "okay, I'll wait." When I went into the restroom I called Kat and asked why she left.
She said "I never was at the movies. Haha." I could not believe she did that. I told her that I had to go and that I would call her when I got home.
She said, "okay, talk to you later!!" Then I hung up. When I walked out of the restroom, Tyler was leaning against the wall waiting.
He looked up and said, "you ready?"
I told him "yup, see you."
He looked at me and said, "where are you going?"
I told him "Walking home? Where else would I be going?"
"You can't drive?" He asked.
"No? I'm only 15." I told him. He then walked up behind me and picked me up, holding me like a baby. I clung to him, only because I didn't want him to drop me.
Then out of surprise, he said "Dang! How much do you weigh??"
"105lb's why?"
"Your light. Haha. I'm 150lb's. "
"Um, okay? Haha..."He put me down when we got to his car. As I was getting in, one of the girls from school yelled at Tyler "I just put a $50 on top of the $100 Kat's going to pay you." I looked at her and rolled my eyes. I had forgotten that this wasn't real and that he was only dating me for the money.
He looked at me, leaned over, and whispered in my ear "Don't listen to her. I'm not dating you for the money." He leaned back out and smiled. The rest of the way home I was confused, if he isn't dating me for the money, then why are we dating?
When I got home, I got out of the car and said "Thanks for the ride."
"No, problem!"
As I was walking inside, he yelled after me "Tomorrow, 8:00??"
I yelled back "No, I'm busy!!"
"Then get unbusy!!" I didn't reply, instead, I walked inside and smirked. I ran upstairs to my bedroom, hopped on my bed and called Kat to tell her ALL about it. When she picked up she told me that she and Landon started dating too. I told her that was cool and then told her about Tyler, and what he said. She thought it was cute. I told her I had to go eat dinner but that I would see her tomorrow.
She said, "okay, see you tomorrow!!"
