Tulip stepped out of the school yard, his loose bow tie moving with the wind, school had just let out for winter break and he planned on spending most of it with his parents or at the cafe talking with Greyson. Walking down the roads that lead towards the cafe, Tulip decided to make a quick stop to pick up a few pastries for his parents and a to-go cup of tea. Stepping inside he saw Greyson at the counter working on a the cash register with the cafe apron on. "Hey Grey. Could i get me about 6 cinnamon rolls and a to-go cup of tea." Greyson looked up from the machine, "Sure hold on I'm pretty sure Samuel is working today, I know you prefer to his pastries most of the time."
Tulip made his way towards a seat near the door and waited for his order to be completed, pulling out his phone he sent his mom a quick message about how he'd be over soon. About 7 to 10 minutes later Michaela, one of the older staff workers, gave him his order in a medium sized bag, along with his to-go cup of tea. Tulip gave her around 40 dollars and left for his parent's house. Their house was about a 20 minute walk from the cafe, sipping slowly on his tea he was closing in on his parents house. Seeing the familiar berry bushes that he grew up around, the small clusters of the vibrant berries reminded him of when used to live with his parents and how they would pick the berries to make all sorts of treats.
As he walked up the steps, before his hand even touched the door, it flung open to reveal a very energetic young boy, Tulip's brother who had just tuned 9 a few months ago. "Big brother! I saw you walking up from the window! How long are you staying over for?" His voice had always been high pitched, but when Remy get's excited it can get even higher. Stepping inside Tulip placed down the bag with the cinnamon rolls and picked up his younger brother, he may be skinny but Tulip had always been able to lift things many people assumed he couldn't. "I will be staying about three or four days. Come on lets go find mom and dad. I bought some treats for us to share." Tulip had let Remy down so they could walk together to locate their parents. Soon enough they found the two in the backyard tending to the flower beds and trimming the hedges they had been taking caring of for years. "Mommy Daddy! Look look Tulip is finally here! And he brought treats!" Remy's voice had raised an octave at the mention of treats.
Tulip's mother, Cleo, got up from here she had been sitting and gave him a large hug, father following in-suit. After their little reunion Remy rushed back inside dragging Tulip along with him to get the bag that he had seen his older brother set down. Once everyone was inside and they made their way to the kitchen Tulip pulling out the container of cinnamon rolls. Knowing his father, Triston, he'd really only eat one so he bought six so his mom, and Remy could have two each. Tulip never really had that much of a sweet tooth craving when it came to cinnamon rolls so him and his father both got one. Soon the snack pastries were gone and Tulip had settled down into the guest room, which used to be his bedroom before he moved in with Cash.

After unpacking his belongings he made his way towards the bathroom down the hall form the guest room. He had grabbed his favorite spotty sweater, it was so cozy and it kept him extremely warm, he also had a pair of fluffy leggings. Upon making it to the bathroom he started up the water in the shower. Soon, roughly about 15-ish minutes later he had gotten out. His hair was a wild mess that he quickly tamed down with the towel and hairdryer. As soon as he stepped out of the bathroom his brother came tumbling down the hallway, Remy quickly grabbed Tulip's arm and started tugging him towards the kitchen.
Before Tulip could regain his balance his brother had pushed him into one of the cushioned chairs they had at the dining table. "We're having our favorite meal!" Remy had explained in a extremely childlike manner. Soon their mother had come set down bowls in front of the two boys before sitting down next to their father. Tulip breathed in the delicious fragrance of the meal, it was a homemade pumpkin soup with carrots and potatoes mixed in, it was one of Tulip's favorite dishes when he was younger. The spices and the homegrown carrots and potatoes their mother used to make the soup always gave it a delicious flavor.

Tulip found himself up and about his childhood home at the early hour of 4. He had grabbed one of the notebooks he brought with him and sat down at the dining table. Soon he was halfway through the book writing a story based in Ancient Egypt, he had set his pencil down for a moment and looked up towards the grandfather clock in the kitchen. It was now 5:50, Tulip knew his father would be up soon to make coffee for himself and Tulip's mother. Over the last few month during some of his visits to the cafe Tulip had started learning how to make coffee form Greyson, he was one of the best coffee makers the cafe had. Tulip had decided to make the coffee this morning so his father could have a cup right when he wakes up.
Soon his father came in his eyes droopy with sleep. His eyes widened when he smelt the strong scent of coffee coming from the kitchen. Tulip had learned how his father liked his coffee from all the times he watched him prepare it in the morning. "Here you are papa, just how you like it. I wanted to do something for you guys so I made the coffee today. I hope you don't mind" Tulip handed his father the cup of coffee he had just made for him. He turned back towards the kitchen and made himself a cup of coffee, he was never a huge coffee lover but he could admit it was nice to drink in the early hours of the day. "Thank you Tulip, I'm sure your mother will be grateful, I am." His father left out a low chuckle before sitting down and enjoying his coffee.
