Prologue⚜️

You have heard of the Salvatore brothers, but have you ever heard of Isabelle Salvatore?
Well.. She was Damon's older twin sister.
Isabelle was a strong, independent woman, who after their mother's death had to grow up fast to look after her brothers.
Damon and Stefan adored her.
Isabelle was always there for them, She was their shoulder to cry on, their protector, they looked up to her, basically she was their second mother.
But everything changed after Katherine Pierce's arrival. They started ignoring her. But what they didn't know was that it was caused by Katherine's compulsion. She saw how Stefan and Damon loved her, how they were listening to every word she was saying and she was jealous of their bond, so she decided to break it.
Isabelle of course was heartbroken. Her whole life revolved around them. She practically raised them after all.
After her brothers' death,she also wanted to die. Yes she was angry with them, because they chose Katherine over their sister, but she still loved them, they were her little brothers after all.
So when her father killed them, she broke, She had nothing to live fore anymore.
So she shot herself with her father's gun. Well at least she tried to shoot herself.
She was saved by THE hybrid himself, who came to Mystic Falls looking for Katherine, but instead of her, he found the girl trying to kill herself, so he for some strange reason decided to save her.
And god when he finally saw her face, it was like he couldn't breath anymore. He could swear, in his 1000 years of life he had never seen someone more beautiful than her.
And then their eyes met and suddenly everything stopped. Suddenly her life was not meaningless anymore.
In that moment two broken souls became one, in that moment She became his light and he - her darkness.
