"I'm only doing this for the merch. For the merch!"

Seungkwan repeats to himself as he lies on his bed, arms crossed over his chest and eyebrows knitted while blankly staring at the ceiling. After a moment, he bursts into complaints and rolls around on the sheets, eventually clutching his blanket and wrapping himself up, burrito-style.

"Why did I allow to have a study group? Everyone's going to be there. Hansol's going to be there-" he says as he stops himself and sits up.

"No. What am I thinking?" He ran his hand through his disheveled locks and scoffed a loud "HA!" as he snatched one of his pillows beside him.

"Seungcheol, I don't want to do it-"

"I promise to buy you a Girl's Generation merch- if not GG then, any other group if you teach us."

Seungkwan whines while reliving what Seungcheol told him a week ago when they were in the cafeteria and continuously rubs his hands together as he bites the inside of his cheek, then continuing to groan and reflect regarding his past life choices.

The boy recalls the moment with his friend and remembers Hansol's helpless look, another purpose why he couldn't bear to refuse the offer. He can't possibly ignore it after developing a soft spot for the younger. His fingers curl as he squeezes the sides of the soft, white-covered pillow, and concludes that he will be a man, and will take this as a man should. So, he shoves his pillow to the side and lets out a deep huff.

It was one in the afternoon and Seungkwan had completed fixing and arranging the things that he assumed would be needed in group studies -- extra books for reference, his old notes, more writing materials, some soft drinks, and very few snacks. He had already finished a number of his junk food supplies, so he was very unprepared for the food section of the study session.

Moments later the doorbell rang and Seungkwan rushed towards it, some excitement finally kicking in him, he opened the door to see Joshua. "Hey, am I late to the party?" Joshua says the moment he was let inside.

It's Joshua.

"Actually, no, there has not been a single one, except you, who has arrived. So, in retrospect, you're pretty early." Seungkwan follows as he leads the elder to sit on the couch in the living room.

Well, of course, it's Joshua, because who else would it be? What was I thinking?

"Want something to drink?"

"I'll take water, thank you."

The quietness pesters Seungkwan like a fly that buzzes recklessly near his ears, but he chooses to ignore it. Although, he hasn't spoken much with Joshua ever since they had met and he also has never been alone with him once. For the reason that the latter had always been beside Hansol 24/7.

But he's Boo Seungkwan, he craves to make better relationships with everyone.

The younger walked back to the living room and sat down on one of the leather chairs that was stationed beside the sofa. "You've got a nice place, cleaner than Hansol's." Joshua chuckles and Seungkwan follows. "Thank you. I try my best to be clean and simple."

"Well, speaking of Hansol, why hasn't he come here yet?" the younger shrugs and wears a pout on his lips unsurely. "No idea." he simply replied as he reached the pitcher he set on the coffee table to pour Joshua a cup of water.

"I hope he didn't stay up late and ended up falling asleep. He's been texting me about how ecstatic he was for this study group."

Seungkwan perks his ears from listening to Joshua. "He was?" he asks, a little more enlightened to hear it, as he leaned back to rest his head on the chair.
