"What's gonna happen to us???" Young Boy wailed, looking at the door with terror written all over his face. "I wanna go home! I miss my momma!" He sobbed, placing his hands over his face and shaking his head. Bodybuilder scoffed at Young Boy and crossed his arms.

"Do you really think crying will help us any?" He grumbled, looking down at him, showing no sign of empathy towards him. Old Lady scoffed at Bodybuilder and walked over to Young Boy, putting her arm around his shoulder.

"C'mon, it'll be alright..." She reassured, pulling him into a hug. He stayed there, sobbing into her shirt. "We all need to be brave right now, and I know you're brave. Do you think you can manage being strong for a while?" She asked, looking him in the eyes. Young Boy nodded, wiping away his tears and sniffling.

"Well? Are any of you going to introduce yourselves? No? I'll start then." 20 Year Old said. "My number is 4. Since a piece of paper has four sides, you can call me Page." He stated, smiling pleasantly. "Who's next?"

All of us looked at him in silence. Nicknames? Really? I... guess it's appropriate, I told myself. Heterochromia spoke up next.

"You guys can call me First." He declared, a half smile upon his face. "I'm sure you can guess why." He held out his wrist, and sure enough, a bright right 1 was on the face. He looked over at me and tilted his head. "What about you?"

I held out my bracelet, showing the 5. "My name is May, so—" My words came out before I could stop them. "Crap! I mean you can call me... uh..." While trying to come up with a nickname, Scar Lady scoffed.

"No point now, dumbass. You already said your real name. But you do have nice name. You guys can call me Spider." She proclaimed, holding out her wrist. A red 8 was on her bracelet. "Since, y'know... spiders have eight legs..." Spider chuckled, obviously pleased with her joke.

Young Boy's eyes lit up as he shot out his left wrist, which bore a red 2. "You can call me Duo!!!" He exclaimed happily, looking around at everyone. "My favourite Pokémon is Doduo, and since Duo means 2..." Duo grinned as he rambled. It was nice to see him so happy considering how much of a mess he had been a little bit ago. But Bodybuilder ruined the moment.

"Whatever. Call me Uranus." He said, almost as if he was reciting an IBM computing manual. "Because—"

"You're an absolute asshole?" I finished, trying to hold back a smile. He shot daggers in my directions and snarled.

"Do you want me to break your fucking arm?" He threatened, straightening himself up as if to appear larger. I glared at him, still trying not to crack a smile. He rolled his eyes and muttered "Whatever." He stuck his wrist out and showed a red 7 on it.

"It's BECAUSE..." Uranus continued, "Uranus is the seventh planet in the solar system." I didn't care, he was Anus to me.

"Alright, come on... please get along." First begged us. "Let's continue with the intros." He shot me a warning glance, as if to say 'Don't say anything to him for the time being.' Roger that. He scanned the rest of us, and then called on Old Lady as if we were in kindergarten. "What about you, ma'am?"

She cocked her head and close her eyes, as if she were in deep thought. "Y'all can call me Quartz." Quartz replied. "Quartz crystals are six sided. And six is my number." She opened her eyes and then lifted her wrist to show us the red 6 on her bracelet.

"I actually really like that..." 6 Fingers quietly spoke, raising a hand to his cheek. I can't believe I forgot about him; he hadn't said a word during the ordeal.

"Well, you can choose a nickname just as awesome!" I encouraged. "What would you like it to be?"

His green eyes lazily met mine as he tilted his head. "My number is 3..." 6 Fingers rose his left wrist slightly to show us the number. "I guess... you can call me Prism." He shrugged. I blinked rapidly, shocked as that was actually a very nice nickname. Everyone seemed to think the same thing, almost as if they were stunned.

First, Duo, Prism, Page, Me, Quartz, Uranus, and Spider. 1 - 8. That left one more person. I turned to look at Glasses, as they seemed very scared. "Hey, do you need a minute...?" I asked, trying to make them feel comfortable.

Glasses shook their head and spoke. "N-No, I'm f-fine..." They tried to assure, but it didn't work that well. They were visibly shaking, and understandably so. We all were scared. "Um... K-Kyu..."

"Q?" Page asked, clearly confused. "Like the letter?"

"No..." Kyu retorted. "In Japanese, 'Kyu' means 9." They clarified, as they probably just realised they sound the same.

"Well, we have that out of the way. Now, we need to go through the uh... the doors." First pointed at them as if they were about to attack him.

"Pfft, no way!" Uranus snapped at First. "Do you really think we should be heading through those doors? Who knows what's behind them!" He turned and glanced at everyone, then back to first. "For all we know, whatever's behind there could kill us."

Everyone seemed to hesitate before speaking amongst one another.

"He does have a point."

"Can we really trust this Zero?"

"I'm not so sure about this..."

"I think we should go through the doors." I said, stepping back near First and smiling at him before looking at everyone. "Listen, I reall—" My stomach lurched as I remembered the water. The window breaking, and the hallway flooding. I can't believe I forgot to tell everyone. Swallowing hard and raising my eyes to everyone, I finally breathed.

"The ship is going to sink, and we need to get off. Now."
