I Have Feelings For Her...for Izzy

Jake's POV

I couldn't stop thinking about what happened with Izzy today. She was kidnapped by the souphlette monster that Hook made for the Coconut Cook-off and Izzy stood up to it, which I tried to make her come back but she was MAD, and I know what's she's like when she's mad, she doesn't listen to anyone. He swooped down and had her tightly wrapped in his fist, and took her to Belch Mountain, of course we followed them, and Hook screamed if anyone would free him and his crew but I thought 'Yay hey, no way, you got her into this mess, we're not getting you out' as it was his fault that Izzy was in this situation. We killed the souplette monster but Izzy still fell into Belch Mountain, which we screamed for dear life as we didn't want to loose her, and I didn't want to loose her. I found her and pulled her out of Belch Mountain. After we got her out, I saw tears come to her eyes and she cried. Of course, I brought her into a hug and she cried into my shoulder while I was stroking her hair. We were all silent as all we could hear was Izzy's sobs after what she suffered through. It made me feel sorry for her.

*Before*

I was watching TV with Izzy and Skully while Cubby was making a snack for Izzy, she was still upset about it. Izzy was resting her head on my chest while I had my arm wrapped around her shoulder, pulling her close to me. She wasn't talking at all, she wasn't even laughing or smiling when her favourite parts came up on 'Austin and Ally', I got to admit it's a funny show, my favourite character has to be Austin because he reminds so much of...me, and I don't even know why. Izzy's got a 'crush' on him as she finds him cute which makes me get irritated as I know I'm more handsome than he is, Izzy just hasn't noticed it yet. All of a sudden when Dez mentioned a 'Chilli Cook-off' it brought Izzy into tears, as she sat up with her hands over her face as she started to cry. I brought her into a gentle hug while tears were coming down her face and onto my shoulder but I didn't care because I know she needs me. I was rubbing her back while she was crying her eyes out. I hate seeing her like this. I saw Cubby come into the room, he set down the plate that had a slice of chocolate cake on it.

"Izzy, if you're ready, I made you a slice of chocolate cake. I think it will make you feel better." Cubby says, as he puts his hand on Izzy's back as she sat up. I looked at her and I could see the pain in her eyes. Oh poor Izzy, she doesn't deserve this.

"Izz, do you want me to get it for you? Cubby made it especially for you." I exclaimed, as she looked at me.

"Sure. Maybe it will take my pain away from me." Izzy says, heart brokenly. I can't believe she just said that. That literally broke my heart. I rubbed her shoulder and kissed her temple while she had her arms on her lap while gazing at the floor. I could tell that Cubby and Skully were going to cry as well. I picked up the slice of cake and walked back over to Izzy and handed it to Izzy. She began to eat it until she broke down in tears again. I took the chocolate cake from her and put it down on the table.

"What if the souphlette comes back again for me? What if I'm actually eating it right now?" Izzy asked us, a billion of questions while she was gazing at the floor.

"Izzy, it won't come back for you, again. IT'S dead! Why would you think that I would make a chocolate cake that would bring you back memories of the souplette monster?!" Cubby yelled at her, which I was shocked, I guess he couldn't take it anymore.

"Just leave me alone!" Izzy yelled at us, as she jumped out of her spot and ran away from us. I was in shock, what just happened?? She was still crying her heart out as she ran away from us. I could see that Cubby was feeling guilty as he was rubbing his arm. We're going need to catch up to her, I don't want her to be hurting herself.

"Guys, we're going need to catch up to her. We have no idea if she might be hurting herself." I exclaimed, as they nodded and we began to run after her. We first ran to our bedroom, as that's where I would expect Izzy to be whenever she gets upset but she wasn't here.

"Let's try the bathroom." I say, as we began to run to the bathroom. I didn't even bother to knock as I opened the door but I saw that the cabinate was open but she wasn't here. Now I'm starting to get really worried. We were running all of the hideout and finally we were on the beach and we found her behind a palm tree as it looked like she was about to throw herself into the Never Seas. We ran over to her and I grabbed hold of her waist before she could do anything.

"Let me go, Jake! I deserve to die! Just leave me alone!" Izzy exclaimed, while she was still crying.

"Shhh...Izz...shhh...it's all going to be okay...I'm never leaving your side and you do not deserve to die." I exclaimed as I was rubbing her back as she cried into my chest. "Shhh...shhh...the souphlette will not come back for you..." I kept on calming her down as we collided on the floor, which I found something hard on my back. I looked behind me and saw a jar of pills. I decided not to question her as she's already in so much pain. After she calmed down from crying so much. I looked at her, she looked at me. Her face was pale and red from crying so much and her eyes were puffy. No worries I can just put a cool cloth on her eyes when we're inside and I think she needs to go to bed a bit earlier tonight, as she needs so much rest.

"Better?" I asked her, with a smile, which she started to smile. There she is. There's our bubbly Izzy.

"I suppose." She says, as I grabbed hold of her hand and helped her up as I got myself up. I put my arm around her and pulled her close to me. We went to the bedroom, she got changed into her night gown while I went to get a cool cloth for her eyes. She was changed into her night gown and she was just lying down in her bed. I put the cool cloth on her eyes while she had them close and kept it there for ten minutes. I took it off her eyes and I could see that she was about to fall asleep.

"Go to sleep Izz. Everything's okay." I say, as she fell into a deep sleep.

*Now*

I was sitting on the couch, rethinking over the events that happened today which was resulting in my feelings about Izzy. Sure, I've got a small crush on her but is it something more than just a small crush?

"Jake, are you okay?" Cubby asked me.

"I'm fine. I'm just thinking about what's happened today. Izzy getting kidnapped, then her life nearly ended, her crying and her nearly trying to kill herself. What does that mean?" I asked Cubby.

"I think you've developed a full crush on her now." Cubby says, which I was astounded. No, I don't think Izzy has any feelings for me.

"What makes you think that?" I asked him.

"No, you need to think it. Just rethink over the events that happened today about Izzy, again. Just listen to what you just said to me before. It was only about Izzy." Cubby exclaimed, as I did re-rethink of the events again. I think Cubby might be right. I think my feelings are changing for her. "And how do you feel about Izzy and what do you like about her?" Cubby asked me.

"I love her personality, the way she laughs as it sounds like bells are ringing. She's always there to cheer me up, even though sometimes it's me cheering her up. I love that I get to protect her without her complaining. I can't imagine a life without her. I love her smile. I love holding her hand and when she was dancing with me in Red Jessica's castle, I felt like I was in heaven. I realised after she got thrown into Belch Mountain that I can't live without her and I need her in my life...oh my god..." I was going through all the reasons what I like and feel about Izzy and I couldn't believe it, I like Izzy.

"I like Izzy." I say, with a smile on my face. "I like Izzy." I kept on saying it.

"I always knew you would. I've seen the way you look at her." Cubby exclaimed, with a smile on his face.

"Is it that obvious?" I asked him, with a groan and guilt.

"Well to me it is and maybe to Skully as well but I don't think to Izzy." Cubby exclaimed.

"Okay but Cubby promise me that you will not tell anyone about my crush on Izzy." I begged him.

"Don't worry, I won't." Cubby says.

"Especially Izzy, herself." I say.

"I won't spill a thing." Cubby says.

"Thanks. I'm going to bed...to dream about Izzy." I say, as I clenched my hands happily.

"Lovesick fool...I mean yeah, I'm going with you. I'm tired after what happened today." Cubby exclaimed while I rolled my eyes.
