*Lucas' POV*
I can't believe I didn't tell Sydney from the start. I honestly don't know why I'm dating this girl. Her name's Ashtyn and she super clingy and super annoying. I've been trying to break up with her for like the past 3 weeks but she always cuts me off to talk about something else.
Either way I should have told Sydney. Now she's in the hospital because of me.
I'm in the hallway sitting in one of those uncomfortable chairs that they always have outside of Sydney's room. Her and Nina were still talking and at some occasions Sydney would look at me and then redirect her eyes at Nina.
After about another hour of them talking, Nina comes out of the room.
"Is she mad at me?" I question.
"She's not mad at you she's just upset that you're just now deciding to tell her about your girlfriend. I mean you can't blame her. What if she had a boyfriend and didn't tell you? You'd feel like she doesn't trust you. Plus...she likes you. I don't know how it wasn't obvious to you but she does. And, Lucas, I hate to break it to you, but I know you like Syd too."
It was bound to happen. Nina always seemed to know what was happening. Even if you didn't know yourself, she some how knew.
"Yeah, I was pretty sure you would find out." I responded
"Yeah, I gotta go Lucas see you tommorow." she says to me. As she's walking away she turns around and calls back to me. "Oh and Lucas, Sydney said after I got done talking to you she wanted you to come into her room." She says.

Before i went in i broke up with Ashtyn she was extremely furious and was whining but i hung up in her face like the nice person I am.
Anyway, I'm now standing in the doorway of her room for about a good 30 seconds before she sees me. Here goes nothing.
*Sydney's POV*
I see Lucas stand in the doorway. He starts toward the chair near my bed.
"Sydney, I'm sorry I didnt tell-"He starts but i cut him off. "Lucas, I like you. I've liked you for so long that you don't even know. And the reason I yelled at you was my fault because I wanted you to like me as much as i did you. So, I'm-" just like i cut him off, he cut me off as well. But he did it with a kiss.
I kissed back. His lips were so soft and it was a passionate kiss as well. When we break apart he starts explaining.
"Sydney, I like you too. Actually, I love you. I've known you my whole life and your eyes, smile, personality, every thing about you i can't help but love. Oh and i told you that i had a girlfriend because i felt terrible that I hadn't told you before. So, i was gonna also tell you that i wanted to break up with her cause i want to be with you." He explained.
As soon as he said that i felt like the happiest person in the world. I gave him a hug and he said,"Oh and by the way i broke up with my ex...so...Sydney will you do me the honor and go on a date with me?" He asked.
"Of course i will." i say answer.
At that moment i felt as if i was living the dream. Lucas cared for me and thats all i needed☺️.
