The princess and the avonturer

Chapter 3

Cole's POV

We talked a bit more when we were eating. I noticed when we talked about travel the world, that Lili looked a bit jealous. I think I just imagined it. She's a princess. I don't think she want to travel the world.

We finished lunch and KJ and I were escorted to our rooms. We had actually one big room with a wall in the middle. There was a door in the wall so we as we opened the door we were in each others room. We also had a walk in closet. It was for only one night so I just let my clothes in the bag. I only hung up my suit, for diner, on the cupboard door.

~3 hours later.

I decided to walk a bit in the back garden of the palace. It was a big garden with a large gradient, path, flowers and a large fountain in the middle. It was a beautiful garden.

I walked a bit around when I saw the princess with a short, rose gold, off-shoulder dress. Further the same accessories and make-up.

She sat at the edge of the fountain. With her hand in the water.

I walked to her.
C-"Hi."
She quickly looked up at me.
L-"Oh, hi."
...
L-"I didn't expect you here."
C-"Well, same."
We started talking at after a while we walked together in the garden.
L-"So tell me more about your life."
C-"Well, I'm 20 years old, I grew up in Naples in Florida with my twin brother Dylan. Our parents divorced at young age and Dylan and I started living with our mother. At my 18 age I started traveling the world with KJ and my brother is big in the business industry. That's kind off, it. And what about your life, princess Lili?"
L-"Just call me Lili. I'm 18 years old. I don't do much in live, just princess stuff, change clothes 3 or 4 times a day and sometimes I do things with my sisters. Their the best. And yeah that's pretty much it."
C-"Do you need to marry someone you don't know. Like in the movies?"
She sighs.
L-"Well, sometimes I need to visit another kingdom for a prince. But it never works and all the princes are the same; boring."
C-"But do you need to marry a prince?"
L-"Actually, yes. But my parents say if I find the one, and he isn't a prince, their still okay with it."
C-"Had you ever have a boyfriend?"
L-"No, I actually never come outside the palace unless I need to visit another kingdom. And I can't really bump into a guy, cause if I travel it's always privé. And as I said; all princes are the same, and all not my type. And you? Ever had a girlfriend?"
C-"Not really. Sometimes flirts on my way but never that's for a long time cause I never stay so long on a country. And before traveling the world I had one girlfriend but that was for 4 months, so also not really a long time."
We talked a bit more until we needed to make us ready for diner.

Lili's POV.

I again needed to change clothes.
First a removed my make-up and jewellery. My maid had already prepared my dress. I took it on. It looked beautiful. It was a light blue dress with blue and pink 3D flowers. Floor length. It had spaghetti straps.
I took on blue eye shadow, pink blush and pink lipstick. I untied my hair and curled it.
After that I put on blue earrings and a silver necklace. I also took on light blue heels.

I always do my make-up self but with important events my personal make-up artiste do my make-up.

I was done with preparing and was waiting for the maid to call me for diner.

While I was waiting I thought of Cole. He's so sweet and a good listener. He makes the best jokes. First I thought he would be such a guy that treat you good because your a princess. Because of your blood. But it seems like he forget I'm a princess and talks to me like I'm a normaal person. I like that. And I know we talked for only 20 minutes but still. And he is so handsome.

My maid called me for diner. My parents and visitors always wait for me, and my sisters normally, at the diner room. So I went down stairs to the diner room. A maid opened the door for me and then I saw my parents and Cole and KJ. My parents smiled at me.
C-"You look beautiful."
L-"Thank you. You don't look wrong either." I gave a wink.
He chuckled and took his hand out. I took it and he walked me to my chair. My parents and KJ walked in the same time to their places. I let go of Cole's hand and sat on his place. Everyone sat now on the same place as with lunch. I looked at Cole, he looked back and I smiled. He smiled back. He looks so handsome in his suit.
