My Arrogant Prince

{One week later}

Hao ChenXi awakened from his slumber in the middle of the night. His head hurts so much after he drank himself to sleep with the fire wine that Xiao Qiao gave to him.

'What was that? A dream? It's the first time that I've dreamt of a woman in my entire life. No, I must not distract myself about women. I need to focus myself as the future heir to the throne of ZhuQue.'

After getting back to his normal senses, ChenXi went outside his room and walked at the pathways of the palace. It was late at night and the cool breeze blew hard as ever yet ChenXi did not mind the cool area. Instead, he couldn't think straight because of his dream.

'Damn this.'

As he walked further at the pathway, he looked back and forth and seeing that no one was there, he grabbed at the wooden support pole and hit his head.

'Damn this. Think straight. Think straight ChenXi! Forget about that woman!'

As ChenXi endured his agonizing pain of wanting to forget his dream by hitting himself at the wooden pole of the pathway, he never noticed that the royal soothsayer was walking towards his direction. When the soothsayer saw him, the soothsayer was a bit surprised and worried about the crown prince's behavior. So he thought that he was bewitched.

Getting a powder of chilis and mint from his satchel, the soothsayer carefully mixed it and ....

"BEGONE WITCH WHO BEWITCHED THE CROWN PRINCE!"

The soothsayer threw the mixture on the prince. ChenXi's mouth was coincidentally opened and the mixture entered his open mouth directly.
He thought that his whole head would explode because of the spiciness of the mixture and almost blew a torch fire from his mouth.

"Eths thspey thiy... Whe thed yu puth in ma mawthhh!"

"Sorry your highness! I thought that you were bewitched I am so sorry."

The soothsayer took his gourd and gave the prince a citrus drink made from lemons and honey. The spiciness then wore off and ChenXi can now speak normally.

"I am not bewitched. It's just I have this weird dream and..."

"A dream you say? May I foretell your future your highness?"

"Alright. Follow me, we'll do it in my room."

ChenXi led Soothsayer Yi inside his room and set up the table that would be used for the ritual.

Soothsayer Yi put a bowl in the center of the table and afterwards put two mixture of thyme, clymene herb and glowing ZiFeng Grass that is used normally for soothsaying.
The final ingredient was the crown prince's blood so he grabbed ChenXi's hand and slit a small cut on his finger.
The blood dripped unto the bowl which glowed from bluish into a pure white color. Then an apparition of the future showed...

"Your highness... There— There'll be..."

"Say it."

"A woman... She'll appear in your life in a form of a servant, her heart is pure and kind and you will fall in love with her."

"NONSENSE! I never fall in love!"
"The future doesn't lie. She can either be your savior or your doom. Behind the veil that she wears is the face that no one wanted to see and a heart that she never wanted anyone to see... The heart of a princess!"
